Ms. Days Ease RV Life #181 9/14/20

Good Morning COVID-19 Warriors.  Day #166 for me today.  I’m on day 26 of my 50in50in50.  Halfway there!  But half measures avail us nothing.  I’ll go to the 319 and find a State today.  Speaking of the 319, I went to training yesterday for 3 hours for working “behind the scenes” so I can be “of service”.  I enjoyed it and I even tried my hand at co-hosting last night.  I “renamed” people if they asked for it.  I was only successful with one person “William S”.  But I did change a lot of phone numbers.  I like doing that.  I’m not sure about “Chairing” yet.  I need to go to a few more meetings before I feel comfortable with that.  Amber was one of the trainers and she recognized me.  Vanessa was the “Host” last night.  I went on at 6PM to try it out.

So the other morning it was pretty smoky here – at least I think it was smoke from the California fires – but also I saw on a map that there are a number of fires here in AZ too.  But this is how the sun looked about 6:30 AM.

This is a view out of the end of my porch looking at the HUGE American Flag.  Looks a little spooky.

So tomorrow is Carol G & Haven’s anniversary.  Haven has 13 years and Carol has 33 years – 20 years apart.  I’ve got virtual coins for them.

SO yesterday, I decided to book a trip to Kartchner Caverns State Park.  It’s right here in Benson.  Only 10 minutes away from my home.  I’m going on the 29th and returning on the 1st.  Just 2 nights.  I just want to “stretch my legs” a little.  Plus, the weather has been getting a little better and not as hot.  I hope that will hold true for the end of the month.  We’ll see.

So I’m at this point now:

So Susan and I use this same app.  It’s ironic how much we have in common.  She is leaving for Nebraska tomorrow for her first SOLO trip in:

Mariah – she is just 2 feet longer but seems so much bigger inside than Daisy, but it may be because I have so much “stuff” in Daisy after being “on the road’ longer than she has been.  I’m excited for her.  I hope it all goes well and Cookie (her blind and deaf Cocker Spaniel) will be with her for the first time.  I wonder what she did about restraining her during the ride.  I’ll have to ask her to take pictures so we can see how she rolls.
