Ms. Days Ease RV Life #187 Wednesday, 10/28/20

Good Morning COVID-19 Warriors Day #210 for me.  I decided to return Buster to the shelter.  I had him for 30 days and kept copious notes about his peeing and pooping and eating and sleeping etc., but I came to the conclusion that it wasn’t working.  I realize that I am not a good dog trainer.  I can not do the discipline that is needed to have a courteous dog.  He was 10 pounds of pure joy, but also a terror around the house and Metaxa.  My house was totally torn apart due to blocking him off from access to rooms etc and I couldn’t live with that any longer.  My brother just said to me, “You know Mary, you can return him to the shelter”.  And that is what I did.  I am very sad about it but he will get a great home and now I can have a garage sale with all my “gear”.  No really, I’ll just try to sell it on FB Market Place.  I’ve had luck with that.  Anyway, it is sad and I’m sad but ultimately it will be better for him in the long run.  Now I have to cancel a bunch of stuff like his microchip information.  So onward to camping.  Which is why I made this move out to Arizona in the first place.

God Bless his little heart!

BUSTER UPDATE:

Each picture that I saved of Buster I numbered.  This last image from the Shelter was numbered #30.  I had him for 30 days and how appropriate was that.  As my brother stated when I told him – “Now you can really get a good night’s sleep!”  AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I’ll be concentrating on getting my house in order and supporting my Metaxa!

I love this kitty!  She has become my “companion”!

I just got a little harness in the mail for Buster so I still have him in my heart.  I did this with the harness:

So now I can still think fondly of my 30 Days of Puppy “Imperfection”!  I said I wouldn’t obsess about him, but he is on the Benson Animal Shelter FB page & the post has been shared 22 times which gives me hope that he’ll have a good home soon.  I think I’ll see if pet finder has him on their page now – that’s how I found him originally & the picture above was what sold me on him.  Just praying he finds a good home.  I put these items on Marketplace for sale:  UPDATE – SOLD to Penny for $30.

And also this:

Also this:

I have pictures of my crate & I left a message with the Shelter that he was crate trained & that my crate was available for sale if the new owners we’re interested.  They never respond to my messages, but I hope they make note of the messages.  That is all I can do, so I’ll put it on Marketplace if he gets adopted & no one contacts me.

So I discovered that my vote has been counted:  YAY!

I guess I’ll end this for now.  Thanks for visiting!  See you next time!
