So I figured that I should do a post on my birthday! Can’t believe I’m 70 today! Who would have “thunk” it? Anyway, I’m still the youngest in my family so that gives me some solace!
I’m waiting for my call about my appointment tomorrow to get my eye done. I’ll report back on that after it happens.
I don’t really have any plans for today. It’s just another day! But it is weird being 70. I don’t feel 70 – I think more like 50. Thank goodness I have Daisy to keep me busy and adventuring. Best thing I’ve ever done! Great way to live in retirement.
So I put Christmas lights out in my front yard. Here they are in the day light. I got the 2 signs at the Dollar Tree – I think they are cute – Santa pulling a camper!

I bought the string of lights at ACE. It’s the perfect length for my space. I’m testing an old timer that I had in Naples so that I can put it on a timer moving forward. I forget how it works so I’ll test it out. I think I have it set on Dusk to Dawn, but I’m not sure. It will be good to have it on a timer so I don’t have to plug it in every night – although what else do I have to do?

Love the way the snow falls! So glad I’m not in a “snow” area. It gets cold, but I haven’t seen any accumulation of snow – YET! I did see some “flurries”, but nothing sticks.
