So today we start out with this in Naples:
Last cold snap 2015?
I think it will be the last cold day in Naples for the year. That’s my prediction – let’s see if I’m right. I actually “love” that temperature. Any lower and I’m a little uncomfortable, but the ’50’s and ’60’s invigorate me. I’ve been noticing how blue the sky has been here lately. Love that color! From my desk at work, I get a glimpse of the outside once in a while which helps me appreciate my environment more. I am really so grateful for my job. There is a new position at work that has just become available and I was asked whether I’d be interested in applying for it. It’s with the “Foundation” and would be working with the scholarship program and other aspects of philanthropy at Moorings Park. It might be a nice change and I’d be in my own office which would be FANTASTIC, but I love working at Orchid Terrace as frustrating as it can be at times. I really love my co-workers (the vast majority) but having the residents around is really the best part. So no, I wouldn’t try for it – unless asked by management to make a change.
So yesterday I started thinking about all of the things I’ve got going this year. The Grapevine, Webmaster, Secretary of District, Vice Chair of The Naples Group, Treasurer of Corrections and now a commitment to work at Intergroup on Fridays (beginning this Friday) from 4PM to 7PM – if that doesn’t keep me sober, I don’t know what will. Oh yea, I’m involved with Sister’s By The Sea also this year and I’ll be going to Atlanta in July! So buckle your seat belt – it’s gonna be an interesting ride!

Well, we’re at 24 degrees this morning but moving into warmer temps in Arizona. We should be “home” today!

Mary, you have a picture of 54º at 5:30 AM…temp in GG is 46º at 7:45 AM–NOW! It was even too cold for me to ride Flex to New Dawn meeting. THAT’S COLD, Baby!
I agree, we are seeing our final cold wave of 2015…but I say that every year about this time, and occasionally it is correct! Hmmm. More shall be….

I try to stop writing long comments, b/c I KNOW you don’t have time to read. Wonder just HOW do you fit it all in? (Guess like everything , say “no” to some and “yes” to others.) However, you DO those things you want and like to do, and at which you are “proficient” (like that word!).
www in which we have words like “proficient”…and “AA”.

I wish I had your cover on my ASUS, but wishing doesn’t make it so! I am gonna bring both the ASUS and my laptop this weekend! Can never have too much technology! But we’ll be busy. I start at 9 and then I saw another meeting for District Secretaries at 12:30 I want to attend. See you tonight maybe.
