Ms. Days Ease RV Life #202 Saturday, January 2, 2021

Happy 2nd Day of 2021 COVID-19 Warriors!  Day #296 for me!  So I’ve been considering what to do with all of my “stuff” out of Daisy.  Right now, it is all over my house!  (See my previous blog – https://wyliesavesme.com/ms-days-ease-rv-life-201-thursday-december-31-2020/ ) The plan is to get everything out and then do a thorough cleaning – well as good as I can do!  Then when I plan a trip, to only put back exactly what I need for the trip so when I’m ready to market her, she can be cleaned up and out for her relocation/rehoming.  SO we came up with a plan.  Buy an enclosed trailer for a “storage unit”.  Found one on FB Marketplace but it sold right away and not to me.  Found another one, but they never contacted me and based on my research it would have been too tall to fit under the carport.  SO more research found me a tiny 5′ X 10′ Enclosed LOOK Trailer.  It’s only 85″ tall and fits JUST RIGHT!  So meet Baby Bear:

She fits “just right” under my carport and in front of OTIS2.

Here is what she looks like:  She reminds me of Olivi@ with those fenders!

This picture is of the side door entrance taken from the front porch door of my house.  Here is a picture of the back of her:

It has a garage door pully that lowers down so if I need to wheel anything, like a motorcycle (no not really) or my electric bike, it’s all set with a ramp!  My brother Bill and I drove to Tucson to pick it up – brand spanking new!  No nicks, scratches or dents!  BRAND NEW and the only one on the lot with no estimate of when another one will be available – so it was meant to be!!!!!  It’s JUST BEAUTIFUL!  So my new set up will be The Three Bears.  Papa Bear, will be the Tow Vehicle (Probably a Ford F150/250), Mama Bear – the camper – yet to be determined, and Baby Bear – the tiny trailer under the carport.  SO as Cathy says: I’m Silverlocks – like Goldilocks.  It’s SO exciting!  And I saved myself about $7000 on a Built In Shed, like B & C’s.  I don’t need that much room because my house is larger than theirs.   I love having a plan to execute!  I just want to stay patient and get just what I need.  That is the hard part.  But now that I have Baby Bear – it will be fun getting her all organized.  Certainly something to keep me occupied for the next few months until my eye and tooth are done.  Did I tell you my “crown” broke?  Repair in a couple of weeks.  AND I need to go to the dermatologist after my eye is done next week when I can drive again.  I want to get checked over and do something about the fatty tissue thing on my forehead.  It’s beginning to bug me more and more.   Old age is not for the faint of heart!

So this is interesting.  I went on to the Leapin’ Lions RV Forum (Born Free Owners) and found a couple who were interested in a 24RB Born Free and I reached out to them to ask if they were still interested.  They are in Florida.  They responded and said they had been searching for 8 months.  They have asked me a few questions and we’ll see where it goes.  I just wanted to “test the waters” with people who already know and like Born Frees.  More will be revealed!

Trying something new.  Taking pictures from this computer and putting them in the blog.  Here is Roxie’s Christmas Picture:

It is easier.  I used to send them to myself in my email.  Now I can just get them off  my pictures on this computer – saves a step!
