Good Morning Everyone,

I think Metaxa is ready to go camping again! I’ve decided to take her to the rally with RVW in September to The Grand Canyon. I know that I’ll be gone on the “train” for a whole day, but she should be fine since I’ll have electricity and by then I’m hoping that the temperature will be cooler. I am taking my time to get up there. I’m leaving on Wednesday the 8th and staying at Thousand Trails in Cottonwood for one night and then it’s a couple of more hours to Railside RV Park where I’ll meet up with the RVW ladies. I’m looking forward to it.
Every time I walk to the trash, I go by my front garden. I am amazed how big my “throw away” cacti are. It’s been a year and 1/2 that I have been in my home here.

It’s funny how the flat cactus looks like Mickey Mouse!
The other day I was scrolling on FB and was thinking about Olivi@ and all of her glory. Saw this picture today from 3 years ago:

This was in Lakeland, FL with an RVW rally. It was the last camping I did with Olivi@. I had purchased Daisy, but hadn’t sold Olivi@ yet. I did enjoy that little camper – especially buying all of her “extras”. I still have that “shade” tent and I haven’t needed it over the last 3 years, but someday I may use it again. I also put up the “CLAM” tent at this site. This picture doesn’t show it, but it was really helpful since it was so HOT & BUGGY!
I also loved that RV Park in Lakeland. Here is a video of the place:
I’ve been having an issue with the storage areas in Mama Bear. I follow a FB group about HIKE’s and discovered people are having issues with the shelving. I didn’t notice it until I saw their posts. So FB is good for something! Anyway, the shelf is attached to a piece of 1/4″ wood with staples and the weight of the “stuff” I put up there caused it to be loose and now the shelf is bowed down. I don’t have the skills to reinforce it so I’m going to wait until Bill returns from Yellowstone to help me. So in the meantime, I’ve done this:

I found the wood under the trailer in Bill’s back yard. Over on the kitchen side – it shouldn’t happen because they used the valance to reinforce the shelf:

Plus I don’t have as much “stuff” up there and it isn’t as heavy.
So this happened!

Susan got Joey all hooked up behind Mariah. Now she is totally self sufficient when she travels. Life is GOOD!
Started a new project:

I’ve been looking for something to do during the HEAT of the day. Started with a really tough one. We’ll see how it goes!
Day 2 – 60 pieces found!

I gave up on this puzzle because the rest of it was just too hard for me to be patient enough to work it so I returned it and got this one instead.
I’m going to see if I can rotate this picture. I’ll be right back.
I think this one will be easier – we’ll see. Time will tell. But it is something nice to do when it is too HOT to go outside.
