Good Morning Road Warriors! It’s a new year – 2022! I’ve been looking through some old pictures and found this one:
It must have been around Christmas because you can see my Christmas luminarias on the porch. I wonder what I did with those? I really liked them in Florida and I’m surprised I didn’t bring them out west. They may still be up in the attic over the garage in Naples!!! Not sure where I would put them out here – probably out on the porch but no one would see them but Bill and Cathy if they were looking up there! I guess it’s better that they didn’t make it out west.
Well, we’ve come to the conclusion that our summer plans are changing. Jack isn’t vaccinated (I don’t care about that) but it’s a deal breaker for Susan. I must admit, I’d been having second thoughts about that trip anyway and this just makes the decision for us. We want to do our “own” thing and we’ll probably still go to Kentucky for Jack’s parents. But we’ll only be on the road for a couple of weeks, not a month or more. I’m not interested in all that time away from home base. So we’ll get the Kentucky trip in during fall when the trees are changing and there isn’t as much of a chance of a tornado in the forecast. In the meantime, we’ll do some travelling out here to Utah and the Bad Lands etc. Weather isn’t so terrible out here during the summer – hot, but not awful.
Yesterday, we went out and sat in Daisee2 for a little while. It’s so peaceful out there and cozy. I’m looking forward to our temperatures warming up some so we can take a few trips around here. We’ll just go for a couple of days. This time we’ll take Metaxa and leave Odie behind. At some point we’ll take Odie with us. He’s so shy, he’ll probably hide for most of the time!
I bought a new picture printer from Kodak. I can print pictures on the slick paper. It’s a little hard to get used to, but I’ve managed to print out a couple of pictures and I printed this one out. She looks so cute there!
