Hello World,
I’m sitting in my hotel room on my last day in Atlanta and I’m feeling a little sad, but so grateful for this wonderful opportunity. It has been an amazing weekend, even though I haven’t made it to a meeting yet. I think our hotel is a little out of the way and I would have made it to a meeting if we were a little closer. But I tried to get to a meeting yesterday and at the last minute I decided to go back to the hotel instead to rest for the night and I’m glad I did. The meeting of the “Old Timers” was wonderful. I enjoyed sitting 2 hours before the start of it to watch the Dome fill up. It was quite incredible. One thing they did last night was “stream” some fireworks in to the Dome on the big screens before the last 2 or 3 speakers. Steve, Anna and I decided to leave before that was over to “beat” the crowd. It was definitely a “God” moment decision. We took the Marta and it wasn’t crowded and we were able to get to our destination without a hitch. The long walk from the station to the hotel was uneventful and the weather was great and temperature cool and comfortable. After getting back to my room I was looking out the window at the fireworks down town (just saw a couple) and noticed my window had rain on it. IT WAS POURING! If we had waited to leave, we would have been soaked! God was watching out for us.
So earlier in the day I did my 2 hour “stint” at The Grapevine. I met a nice woman there. Here is our picture: Funny, I can’t find that picture on my camera now. But here is another: Found the picture in my email:
She took this “selfie” with an app called “Beauty Plus”. It is AMAZING! It takes years off of your face! So funny! Here is another picture I took:
I noticed this morning that there is something you can do to even take “old” pictures and enhance them. I’m going to try it sometime. Anyway that was pretty cool to learn about.
My 2 hour shift was a breeze. Speaking of “BREEZE” this was our way on MARTA:
Well I’m going to cut this short. I have to get downstairs with all my “stuff” so I can take the Shuttle to The Hotel where Ralph and Heather are staying so I can get my luggage into their car for the long ride home, but I think it will be much more fun this time.
So long from Atlanta. Thanks for visiting. As Betsy said…..”I’m having the time of my life”!

Thanks for visiting. Reading this is kinda like the old days and watching slides of “other people’s vacations” – it gets boring quickly. Loved seeing you and I promise I’ll call often!
