#230 Good Morning Thursday, July 9, 2015

Hello Everyone,

This is a busy day for me as Steve pointed out last night.  I hadn’t really thought about it until he mentioned it.  I’m going to work all day “on the schedule” of course and hopefully get that put to bed – at least the next 2 weeks.  Then I’m going to go to my Sister’s by the Sea committee meeting.  This is our Naples Group Business meeting because we changed it due to the International in Atlanta.  And then there is the 8PM Speaker meeting as usual.  That’s a lot but I’m still energized from Atlanta.  Still Happy, Joyous and Free!  I’m following the FB page from the International.  It is now a “Secret Group”.  Sounds sinister, but I think that just makes it more private…..or not who knows, who cares.  This is what I’m doing right now:

Detroit in 5 Years

I got this idea on FB.  If I put in $1 a day I’ll have around $1800 for the trip.  That should cover it.  I think I spent about $1500 this time, but I’ll need to add airfare for the next one.  No more driving for me – it was so draining!  I’m still not sure whether I’m going to go to Detroit or not, if not I’ll probably go to Toronto or Vancouver (Can’t remember where it is in 2025) in 2025 – I’ll be 75 then!

I don’t know how Bill and Cathy drive so much with their “Big Rig” behind them.  But they have each other and that’s how it works!  Let’s see what they are up to!

I’m not sure how this will come out in the blog.  I’m not sure how to shrink the pictures – I’ve tried, but they remain the same.  (I shrunk the pictures a little).   Maybe when I publish this, it will fit on the page.  Time will tell.  I guess this is the kind of thing that keeps them going.  Wild life and beautiful pictures!  I’m going to enjoy their DVD this year as always.  I love getting it for Christmas.  It documents their summer and although I’m not part of it and it’s about their summer friends, it’s a beautiful way to remember their year “on the road”.

So now my focus will be on our “Beaches” reunion in March.  I ordered a beach cabana that I saw on FB which will be cool for us to take to the beach.  I think it was made in Australia and it took about 4 weeks to get here.  I kind of forgot about it.  That is one problem about ordering “on line”.  It’s hard to remember how to “track” the stuff.  Anyway, it arrived when I was in Atlanta.  Here it is:

The video on FB looks like it is easy to set up.  I’m going to try to set it up in my “side yard” one day to see how easy or hard it really is to do.  I may even use it one day at the beach…..who knows!  It might be nice to put out on the porch to get some shade out there for the kitties when they sit out there.  Not sure it will set up on concrete.  Might try it though.  Of course the kitties can sit in the shade under the roof or under a chair, so there is plenty of shade out there for them – and they do.

So now I have my “collage” finished from The International in 2015.  I put them above the pictures I have for 2010.

This is in my bathroom going into the closet.  Now all I need is my “official” photograph of all of us “In the Dome”.  It’s been fun and will continue to be.
