Hello World,
Last night a group of us traveled to Immokalee to Steve’s meeting of “Language of the Heart”. There was Tom B., Brian, Chuck, Ali, me, Tom M., Jorge, Polly, Heather, Janet and Faye. Jorge had contacted us through the IG Website looking for a meeting a few weeks ago and I told him about this meeting. Steve was so happy that he showed up to the meeting. Last week Jorge said there were around 8 people at the meeting which is a good number. Jorge did not know about Steve’s death and that was sad to have to tell him. He said it explained why he couldn’t get Steve on the phone as he had tried numerous times. We found the materials for the meeting and the Pastor (minister) let us in to the church. We all vowed to continue going to that meeting. I hope that happens. I have another contact in Ave Maria that Anna told me about who said they might be able to do it. But I don’t have their contact information. Maybe they will show up on Thursday to the Cookie Meeting – they’ve been there before. I’ll call Anna later to see if she has their number. It is Danny and his wife who spoke at the Cookie Meeting last month when Steve was “chairing” it. Also, Tom M., vowed to help out. Steve was his sponsor. I’m glad I went there. Steve would have been pleased.
So last night was a Full Moon, and Eclipes and a Super Moon all together. It was starting around 9:30 PM but I didn’t go out to see it. But this morning, there were a number of pictures on Facebook so I’ve added them to my media library. The first one is from Cathy taken in Yellowstone!
The second one is from Heather taken in Naples.
So now I’ll have pictures of an event that won’t happen again for 33 years. Long after I’m gone! Gotta love this technology. Now if I can only figure out whether GoDaddy is going to dump my service. I still can’t figure that out and I think that if they badger me long enough I’ll end up paying them money I’ve already paid. I noticed that Bill and Cathy are taking down their blog. I guess they’ll just communicate by FB – at least Cathy will. And really if I think about it, there isn’t much difference from posting here and posting on FB. It would be one thing if there were people who followed my blog and relied on it, but it’s really all about me. One day I’ll probably get sick of it and want to stop (it took Cathy 8 years).
So it’s time to come to an end today. Thanks for visiting! I’m sure Steve is watching from above and will have a glimpse of this as I write it. Thanks for watching over us all Steve!
