Good Morning Cathy and Bill and everyone else!

Today is Sunday and of course I’ll be going to Church:

I hope it completes downloading…..anyway, I’m bringing a “Pot Luck” meal today in my crockpot.  I found a family sized Amy’s Broccoli Cheddar Bake and I’m cooking it now and will put it in the crockpot to keep warm.  I usually just bring a cheese and veggie platter but I thought I’d try this today.  I’ll let you know the results.  It sure smells good this morning!

Yesterday I cleaned the house – at least to my liking.  I vacuumed and dusted and “steamed” the tile floor.  It makes me feel like the house is cleaned.  The weather has gotten so great!  The outside temperature is 70 this morning.  That is so wonderful!  I like it when it gets down to 65, but I’ll take 70.  It will only get to about 88 today so anything under 90 is super.  I think I’ll ride my bike along the Greenway this afternoon, or maybe just walk it by riding my scooter to the Greenway.  I found a new app for donating to the Alzheimer’s Association.  It’s called “Charity Miles”.  It is sponsored by Humana and for each mile you walk, they donate to the charity of your choice.  Mine, of course is the Alzheimer’s Association, but there must be 20 or 30 others.  I found out about this app when I went on my walking Moai at work with Jess.  Yesterday, I just walked for about 20 minutes and they donated $.29.  It doesn’t sound like much, but imagine if 1,000’s of other people did the same.

I found another coloring App:  it’s called “Recolor”.  So far I’ve done just this picture:

So now I have lots to choose from.  I think they are fun.  It’s a lot more fun than coloring with colored pencils, because if you don’t like what you’ve done, you can just touch it and change the color.  If I did that with colored pencils, I’d get frustrated with the color choices and once I colored it, I couldn’t fix it.  Plus these apps fill in the color perfectly – no going “outside the lines”.  It’s a win-win for someone like me with OCD.  Plus I can print them out and put the on the fridge!  So funny!

I’m going to get going now.  I just remembered I want to make up a card for “Boss’s” day for Lily so she get an hour of personal training with Jenna at work.  I sent her an e-card but just got notification she didn’t pick it up.  But maybe that is because she hasn’t checked her personal email yet.  Anyway, I’ll work on the card now.

Have a beautiful day this October day and thanks for visiting!
