Happy New Year! Made it to 2016:
New Years 2016
I was looking back on my posts for last year at this time. I still had Rose and she was having an “issue” with an engine light coming on. I had to fix it and if I remember it was about $1000 to fix her. That began the journey of getting a new car. It took until May 2015 to buy Ty. I’m so glad I did! I love this new car.

I decided to pay off my Scooter. So I did that and now I’m going to get a “refund” for my “GAP” insurance and Orlando said I should get close to the whole amount $500 back. So I’ll let you know how that goes. It will be nice to get that back.
Today I’m going to go to The New Attitudes Club. I may make it there twice today. For the 8AM meeting and the 5:30 Meeting. I love riding my scooter there so it’s a good excuse to hop on Red2 (she’s paid off now!) and go to a meeting. I went to the Naples Group last night. The speakers were great – two women. John W did a wonderful job bringing speakers for the month. The meeting wasn’t that well attended but the “Young People” were having a party at the 24 Hour Club and they took our “left over” cake. I was happy about that. We had TOO MUCH cake!
I’m going to vow to walk 10000 steps a day for 2016 (at least 3 times a week) I’ll probably go to the gym at work and use the treadmill to do that – we’ll see about that. I’m paying for it afterall. Ali mentioned that I looked like I lost a lot of weight. I haven’t really, but the outfit I wore last night was less “baggie” and that may have made a difference. I’m going to go shopping for longer tops that I can wear with “leggings” that make me look a little thinner. It will also make me feel thinner and maybe that will help me not eat as much.

I have an extra day off this weekend. It’s good because I want to take down my lights and put them away. I have to do the “Grapevine” display at the Ice Cream Social all day on Saturday – beginning at 12:30. I need to remember to take some lights with me for the display. I just remembered that I need to buy some grapes for “Guess the Grapes” and be sure to have some slips of paper to do that with. So I guess I better get going.
