It’s Valentine’s Day and once again I’m spending it with my 3 loves – Wylie, Domino & Metaxa! I’m very happy today and that is such good news! This is my post today on FB:
Valentine’s Day 2016
Erica and Heather are up and have commented on it already. I think it’s a great picture. I think someone posted it on FB last night and I got it from there. I’ve also texted my Beaches girls. Still waiting to hear from all that they are coming in April. I’m not too sure about Jenn, but I suspect Suzanne and Heidi will come. We’ll see.
I’m doing this new thing. I’m walking a mile in my house in the morning. Barb at work told me about these videos on YouTube and it’s “Walking with Leslie”. She has all sorts of videos with different lengths of walking. I’m only doing a mile, but I’m planning to get up to 3 miles one day. I like doing it because I can do it barefoot and with wet hair and no one sees me but me and the cats. It’s great and each time I do the morning walk I feel better and make my goal of 10K steps each day.
Last night after the BB meeting I started watching the Republican debate. Justice Scalia died yesterday and they started out talking about his replacement. I know it is an important duty of the President, but really, the guy had died only about 6 hours earlier. I watched it for a while but I really hate the debates. It gets nasty and embarrassing. I turned it off and went to bed.
So I think I talked about my Windows 10 freezing up and I had my computer all “reset”. I’m constantly trying to find things that I had shortcuts to before and it gets a little frustrating at times. Now when I try to download pictures to my media library, it’s difficult. It used to be a lot easier because they would float down to the task bar and all I had to do was drag and drop them. Now I have to search for them in downloads. Other things are confusing also. But eventually I find them and they seem to be working fine. It took me a while to find Wylie today, but I think I have it in a favorites folder.
Yesterday I gave my old desktop computer away to Roy. I also had a wireless router that I didn’t use any longer and gave him that also. I hadn’t used it in about 6 months or longer and all it was doing was taking up space on my desk. Now I can move my laptop into the den and sit in there rather than always being out in the dining room. I’m going to do that shortly. It would be nice to have the table available for the girls when they come in April. So that is the plan at this point. We’ll see how long it takes me to do it.
I finished collecting my tax information and sent it to Tony G. So that is done now. Looking forward to a refund, but not sure what will happen since I sold 100 shares of Dupont last year to pay off my scooter. I may have some capital gains that may eat it up. We’ll see. But at least I’m done with that.
I’m trying to decide whether to ride Red2 to church today. I wanted to ride her yesterday, but never got a chance. I think I’ll do it this morning. It’s 52 though and I think I’ll rethink that. It’s supposed to be 70 after noon today and that may be a better idea.
