This post is devoted to my new love: Cierra. It is feminine for “Black”. Here she is:
My new Harley – yet to be named!
I got a wonderful text from Kent congratulating me on my new Harley. So that was sweet and very unexpected. Anyway, he said I had to name her and his 2 Harleys are Demi and Olivia! So I started researching. I found the name Cierra which is feminine for Black. I love the sound of the name. So that is done.

So being a typical alcoholic, I had to get her insured. I called my insurance agency and they told me that Auto owners won’t insure 883 CC motorcycles so she had to get me another company. I forget her name, Sonia has retired. Anyway, in the meantime, I go on line (at work mind you) and researched Geico. I got a policy quoted for $400. She called me back and said it would be $700. So I said no thank you and got the Geico policy. Danny told me not to go with Progressive and that Geico was the best. But then Michele who rides the same Harley as I quoted me $244 on Progressive. So I decided to go with Michele. Now I can get a Windshield for the money I saved :-)! So I now have Cierra street ready. License tag and Insurance.
Planning to ride her today to the 5:30 meeting. I sure hope the weather is good after work today.
