Hello Everyone,
The last time I posted was on April Fool’s Day! I am enjoying retirement now. I love the fact that I can do anything I want when I want to do it. I am still working at Fresh Market, but only 5 hours a week. It is nice to get out. Yesterday they wanted me to grill vegetables OUTSIDE in the HEAT. I refused. Then I was able to go home at 1:30 rather than 4PM. That was a nice surprise. I like Geoff but I don’t really care for Michael. Casey is the best though. I think his mom is sick or something. Anyway he had to leave town and won’t be back until Tuesday. I’ll see him on Wednesday when I go in. Fresh Market is a great store. So funny though….John Beane thought I was working at a “Farmer’s Market” OUTSIDE! I spoke with him on Thursday and he assures me I have enough money to continue living as I am. And he said I could have my livingroom floors done. I may do that at some point. I’m first going to pay off my Trike this month. When I do that I’ll still have about $10K in Aunt Pat’s account. That should be enough to do the floors. I know it will be terribly disruptive. I want a tile like Dick & Doug, that looks like wood. My dilemma is what color should go on the floor. I have that 2hite tile in the kitchen and hallway that I want it to go with. It will be broken up by the big Oriental Rugs so that is good. I should go on line and do some research. Again, this is not a priority and I can work on it as I can.
So I’m writing this on Sunday morning and will need to go to church soon. We have moved into a new space a little farther up the trail at Wiggins Pass Road. It is a great space. I’m going to see if we will move our District Meeting there in the future. The current church has moved us into a smaller room. More will be revealed about that.
I am still waiting for Peggy to call a wrap up meeting for this years’ Sisters By The Sea. I am hoping we get a finance person soon. I reached out to Tammy, but she has no interest. I’m sure that someone will come along. I think we ended up making money this year, and eventually, we’ll need to figure out what to do with it. I bought these on VISTA print. I think they turned out well and we can either buy them as “give aways” or sell them:

I really like them, I think the LOGO came out great! Oh an another thing. I figured out how to put a Favicon on the website so when you put the link on your phone, the logo shows. It is a little blurry, but recognizable so that is great!

I guess I’ll get going now. Time to think about driving to Church. I was going to pick up Mary, but she isn’t feeling well and I certainly don’t want to get what she has.
