Good Morning COVID-19 Warriors – Day 189 for me. Holy Cow! President Trump has COVID-19. He is taking mega drugs and he stayed in the hospital for 2 days and returned home and took off his mask. He is now saying things that are “unprecedented or unpresidential” by saying he won’t support any more aid packages until after the election – which is only a month away. People (MSNBC) are speculating that the drug “cocktails” he has been ingesting are causing his brain to be foggy at best. I don’t think that is saying much for the safety of our country. I do sense though that his illness is going to allow Joe Biden to win the election. I suppose Karma is at work these days. We can pray!
So as you can see, I’ve renamed the blog. That is because Ms. Days Ease RV Life is “on hold” while I train the puppy. I am finding that I’ve been making some errors also – and I’m not on drugs – just an alcoholic! Anyway, I bought a barrier that I wanted to put across the kitchen between the dining room and the kitchen so I could contain the puppy in the kitchen. I also got a gate for the other door. Anyway, the barrier arrived and it was so heavy that it was difficult to take it out of the box. Just TOO BIG and heavy. I am now trying to return it but it is from a third party and they wrote asking if I would keep it for a 20% discount. Well that won’t do – I just want to return it. So we’ll see how that plays out. The gate is difficult to install so I decided to call my “handiman” Josh. I told him the chair needs bigger casters and I want him to install the gate. I tried, but couldn’t do it. I also think I want him to put the crate together for me. He charges $32/hour which I think is pretty reasonable. He is coming Tuesday.
SO here is the cute pictures of the day:
This is one of the harnesses I bought for the kitties. It fits him fine right now and now I’m not pulling on his neck during our walks. Here is the top view:
At least it is blue for boy! I still have a pink one for Metaxa if we ever get to that place. Now all of that is “on hold” while me and Baxter train each other. It’s a journey! Got to go to a meeting. I’ll be back!
Great meeting as always! So I’ve finished my 50in50in50 challenge and made it to every State but Mississippi. I really tried, but as I said, no one from MS came to any of my 24 hour Marathon meetings and when I tried to go to a meeting from their Intergroup, the Zoom meetings needed passwords which were not available so Mississippi was out.
Of course I laminated the map. SO OCD!!!!!!
Today I will try to make it to ZOOM training for the 319 so I can Host and Chair. It is a 2 hour commitment. I’m not sure I can do that with the puppy, so my second thought is that I won’t do it after all. No sense in doing something I know I can’t follow up on. Well, maybe I’ll try to go any way.
My neighborhood is really noisy lately. They are working on the lot across the street and I met the woman who is putting a house on that lot the other day. Anyway, they are using that big noisy equipment over there and it scares Buster. We can’t sit outside under the carport without getting upset at the noise. So we’re staying inside mostly. And that means pee pads. I’ve taken him outside 3 times this morning and it’s only 7:45. We got up at 3:30. Napping will be the order of the day.
So my cousin Dick sent me this video:
It really is sad to watch this. Funny, but terrifying. This is going to be the undoing of his presidency, I believe. Unbelievable!
SO this just happened!!!!!!
AGAIN!!! I held the camera wrong again!!!!!
So this is great! I got walked out of the house to take the broken down boxes to the recycling bin – a 3 minute walk. Buster was in the kitchen held in by the gate, although he could have escaped through the guest bathroom, although for some reason he doesn’t like to take that short cut. Anyway, when I got back there was no crying or barking. UNBELIEVEABLE! Maybe he’ll like this smaller space. Plus it will give Metaxa some freedom too.
Sorry – just realized that by turning the camera, it caused the video to be sideways. Oh well!
I have learned a lot with my dog training. They said 5 minutes walking per month of age is appropriate. It’s because his growth plate is still growing and takes almost a year to complete the growth. So right now that he is 3 months, we can walk about 15 minutes. That is good to know. That is worth the cost of the course!
Another one from Dick!
This is so funny! I guess that’s about it for today. I love the fence in my kitchen. It seems Buster likes it too.
This shows the stools blocking the corner of the cabinet where Buster seems to want to chew. Now he can chew the stool feet if I don’t catch him first. Also, there will be a gate going into the laundry room. That way, he can’t get to the kitty litter. I don’t want him to eat the kitty poo. Not that he has any interest in it so far. Hope that remains. See you next time. Thanks for visiting!

No time for naps sister! Buster has giving life new meaning. Suggestion take the leash off when he’d in the pen and put the stools on the island so he can’t chew!😉🤗love you
