Good Morning COVID-19 Warriors. Day 209 for me today and day 29 or puppy training and loving. So this morning this was happening:
It is the first COLD day this fall. And Bill and Cathy got in from YELLOWSTONE yesterday and brought this freakin’ cold weather! I’m actually wearing my gloves and sweatshirt right now IN THE HOUSE! Of course the gloves are for another reason, but I digress! So thank you Janet for the nice warm, puffy coat. I wear it over the sweatshirt!

SO Suzan and Bette adopted another “feral” cat. Here is his picture. I’m looking to find out the name and gender. All 3 of their cats are boys. He is a boy – named Luke Skywalker.
He reminds me of Metaxa but with white on the paws and tail. So cute. Buster is now doing a bit of the Zoomies. I am still confidently sitting at my computer and he is scattering all around me and isn’t coming toward me. Suzan suggested I give him a whole baby carrot to munch on and it is working. I can give him a baby carrot and he chews on it like a Bully Stick. Now I don’t need to pay for those expensive things – $1.50 a piece. They do last if I only give them to him for 10 minutes at a time, so I’ll have them FOREVER, but I won’t need to buy any more! So the secret now is to just buy regular carrots and don’t even peel them (Susan RV Atwood told me that secret), just cut them into 2 inch pieces. I never thought about the cost of baby carrots. But I’ll save them for me and get regular ones for him. Zoomies over – 3 minutes!

It holds my phone for filming. I originally got it to video my progress with Buster in training so I can participate in 30 Days to Puppy Perfection. I like the course, but I am also getting good pointers from Suzan, Bette and Bill. So I get 3 months of training including 2 ZOOM meetings a week and a FACEBOOK live on Monday mornings. I’ve picked up a bunch. Anyway, I paired the remote to my phone and took this picture:
So now I am set to participate, plus it is so light that I can make it a selfie stick.
I just got back from my trash run and guess what!
I met Michelle at the mailboxes with her little dog – something – told me it’s name but I don’t remember. She lives in the yellow house around the corner. I love the yellow color! I think she is a Biden supporter, but I dared not say anything. Anyway, she told me they moved in and her husband painted the house yellow but then he died. She may be a nice one to get to know – especially if she supports Biden. She might be lonely. She knows the Krones – my neighbors. She gave me a ride in her golf cart.
I took a little spin in Daisy today. I wanted to pull her in the other way so that when I go into her, the door is at my carport rather than at my neighbor’s. I got her turned around, but it isn’t pretty. I need to straighten her up but that’s for another day. So I think that is it for now. Thanks for visiting.

ice cubes work well for chewing puppies. they will chaSE THEM ALL OVER THE PLACE. I THINK THEY LIKE THE COLD SENSATION ON THEIR GUMS. Intergroup has lost about $6000 since the pandemic. When will it end. Glad you are meeting Biden supporters. Not too many in Naples. Go figure.
