For those of you not in the “program” these may not apply to you, but to me, they are really important.  I can use all the “hints” I can get to work my “P.R.O.G.R.A.M”.  Went to the “Cookie Meeting” last night.  Again, it was inspiring and a great way for me to “connect” to my friends.  This time I got there early enough to really be “helpful”.  Crystal let us in and we were mostly set up before Ralph and Heather came in to unlock the doors.  I had an interesting conversation with Crystal the other day.  She once worked in housekeeping at Moorings Park – small world.  She remembers Elaine who is still working there after 20 years.  Anyway, each time I see her I learn something else about her.  In addition to her duties of housekeeping for the Church, she does work on anniversary celebrations.  She was telling me about a 54th Anniversary celebration for John Profitt and his wife – members of the church and also an “accountant” in town – love the name for an accountant!  So we don’t need to put the tables down after the Saturday night meeting and all she wants is for us to leave the chairs on top of the table so she can come in and clean the floor before the event.  Also, on Saturday from 3 to 5 there is going to be a “TEA” so people will be around when we come in to set up for the Big Book Meeting.  Note to Steve:  we don’t need to get there until at least 5:30 on Saturday.

I think I need to add a picture now:

A Beach on Marco

A Beach on Marco

I love the look of our beaches on the West Coast of Florida.  The sand is so “sugary” (is that a word?) and the sky can be SO BLUE!  This picture was one that I got from Peggy E.  I think she lives on Marco.  Here is a picture of our beautiful Naples Beach:

My girlfriends are coming to visit me next March.  It will be our “Beaches” vacation.  I’ll take a week off that month to be ready to be with them and then be ready to return to work.  We are usually together for 5 days – usually Wednesday through Sunday, but Wednesday is a “travel in” day and Sunday is the “travel out” day so those days are pretty limited.  I’m excited already about having them come in.  We got together years ago in Naples.  It must have been back in the early ’90’s because I was still able to bring them to our restaurants and “charge” the meals to “the company”.  Those days are gone.  I was also living with Keith back then and I had to “kick” him out to make room for the girls.  I think I was living in The Vineyards then.  So now I have my cute little house all to myself and my cats so there is plenty of space for all of us to sleep.  The Guest room and pull out couch in the den, plus my bed is a queen size bed.  There will be 5 of us all together.  Now that Dick has painted the whole place, it looks great and much more “up to date”.  I’ll have to start thinking about “activities”.  I already thought about going to that “painting” place where people paint pictures and drink wine – they would like that – I’d be the designated driver.  I’ll need to borrow a car to carry us all – I think Deb would let me use her car and she could use my VW.  I’ll have to ask her one of these days.  Of course the Botanical Garden will have to be on the list.  Steve took a video there yesterday.  I really LOVE that place.  The Beach will be on the agenda.  But mainly we’ll cook at home and go grocery shopping and sit around and “TALK, TALK, TALK”.  We never shut up!  It’s a blast!

Well, time to get ready for work.  Happy Friday everyone!  I LOVE FRIDAYS!  Thanks for visiting!

As long as I do not use TMA…I’ll be OK…”they” said, in high school.
“Too Many Acronyms”. My favorite of the more popular “recovery” ones is: P.R.O.G.R.A.M.
People Relying On God Relaying A Message.

God really speaks regularly through YOU people…but sometimes I lose that awareness (and faith?) which is necessary to move ahead with confidence…or NOT move!

Love the Marco photo, kinda looks like 50 years ago…just where IS that spot with no high-rises? Actually, we ARE close to a beach, wherever we live in Naples-Marco areas

Next March already lined up for a BUSY TIME for you. I love March…and maybe October, for the nicest months here, although I cannot name a BAD month–for me!

And yesss…I read it: Saturday, 5:30 PM. That video clip from the Garden was my first attempt to shoot a vid. So MORE are gonna be coming forth…maybe next time (soon!) I’ll get a bunch of Dinosaur shots, out of which has GOT to be one good one…clickclickclickclick!

    Now…ON TO A GLORIOUS weekend!
    Bye.

Thanks for always taking your time to read my ramblings. We’re painting tomorrow. I’m gonna bake muffins too.
