Well, Aunt Pat isn’t happy about moving to Maplewood in Darien. Dick and Luann took her there for lunch and she wasn’t impressed and said she wasn’t moving. Dick’s plan is to move her anyway and he will take her to the doctor today who will tell her that she can not live independently any longer (although she has been told this in the past) and needs to go to a place where she can be helped with daily living. This is hard on them all. I know how it goes – I see it everyday. It can be very sad and terribly stressful. I’ll pray for her so that she sees this as an opportunity for her to live gracefully and happily. I called Dick last night after I got home from work, and I think he was appreciative of the support even though I can’t really do anything from here. Today is another day. I’m told her short term memory is really bad now so it is time for this to happen. I only hope she does have enough money to make this move so it won’t be a drain financially on the family. As always, more shall be revealed!
