Hello Everyone,
So today is Saturday and yesterday we had a “Good Friday” service at Lowdermilk Park. It was really great! It started with a baptism for 2 of our family: Roan Albert and Phil Flannery. Here they are along with Roan and Michael out in the Gulf!

We took over the pavillion at Lowdermilk Park. We’ve done this for a number of services but we never had the banner before. That was really cool!
Good Friday at Lowdermilk Park
I need to get a beach sticker for my car and my motorcycle. I was lucky yesterday because I found a parking spot on the road in front of Lowdermilk. I remember once I got a parking ticket at Lowdermilk because I didn’t have a valid sticker. So I’ve found out I can get the stickers at the East Naples Community Center on Thomasson Road down the way to The Botanical Gardens. On my next “Monday” off, I’ll need to get over there to do that. I have Monday the 13th off which is great because that is the weekend of the Area Quarterly in Boca. I just printed out the map to the Hotel – it’s a 2 hour drive (1 hour 50 minutes), so that will be fine since I can leave at 4PM and still get there before dark. Maybe I should stop over at Jon and Ale’s that Sunday night and drive home on Monday morning……I’ll have to think about that. Jackie is taking care of the kids for me that weekend. I suppose she might be able to stop by on Monday morning too, I’ll keep thinking about that plan.
So today, I have an appointment to get Domino’s toes done. I’m taking him in at 9:15: He has no clue!

Last time it was a piece of cake. Jackie and I can’t fight him any more. So this is the best way to get it done. His claws get SO SHARP!

Holy Cow what a mess!
I love making the muffins! Then I’ll probably work on cleaning up the house a little. It’s my Saturday duty. I need to vacuum and dust a little. Good thing my place is small. The kids like to go out on the porch so now that the porch is clean, with the help of:

Now that was a FUN job. After I finally figured out how it works. It’s a pretty awesome machine!
My favorite Ace Hardware is moving down the road on 41 to their “new digs” this month – I think around the 15th or so. Anyway, that is going to be great! I know they will love their new space. Every once in a while I think about working other places and that is one place I’d like to work, but really if I was going to work anywhere in retail it should be at Office Depot! I love that place and the store across from the Courthouse is really pretty neat. I’m not sure if it’s an Office Max or an Office Depot – but they are merging so does it really matter? All I know is that the store is always neat and orderly. I love office supply stores for some reason.

Beach sticker…yes, no reason not to have–they use those now which peel off w/o using a scraper–www. All ya need is driver license and vehicle registration–one of few “free” things anywhere (“free” in quotes b/c taxes surely pay the price.)
What wonderful place for a church service, better than Cambier, for you have the beach and the salty sea rat dare…a whole lot of creation all in one spot…and then the “church”, which is PEOPLE rather than a building –sometimes I forget that.
If I were you, I’d sure NOT MISS a chance to visit those nice relatives in that most beautiful place after your Assembly next week. If ya didn’t have those 3 kids, you could spend the night…speaking of kids, you take the BEST photos of cats. Either that, or they are outstanding models–or both! Domino “looks” SO INTELLIGENT. HA!
OH MY! After reading back over your post, I see the prospective plan ALREADY was to spend the night in the “Castle”…Ah. well (sigh)Have a GREAT Easter if I forget to mention it later.

Some how this comment needed “moderation”. Perhaps because you used your naples.net email and it may not have known that address. I can’t get over how easy it is for the vet to do Dommie’s nails. They think he is GREAT! Not a peep out of him. I had to wrestle with him this morning – he was hiding behind the couch. He weighs so much! It is really difficult for me to fight him into the carrier. But we did it and we’re much happier for it! At least I am!
