Good Morning everyone,
I want to start with two poems I saw this morning. Let’s see if the first one can still be “copied” here or if I have to go back and copy it:
To laugh often and love much;
to win the respect of intelligent persons
and the affections of children,
to earn the approbations of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
to appreciate beauty;
to find the best in others;
to give oneself;
to leave the world a bit better whether
by a healthy child, a garden patch,
or a redeemed social condition;
to have played and laughed with enthusiasm;
and sung with exultation;
to know even one life has breathed easier
because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded.
— Ralph Waldo Emerson
Didn’t have to go back! Technology is a beautiful thing. I have a little quote book I keep at home and this morning I made 2 entries. This one by R. W. Emerson and this one by Emily Dickinson:
Hope is the thing with feathers
that perches in the soul
And sings the tune without the words
And never stops at all
Emily Dickinson
So my day has started with a little culture. That is always good and I’m feeling great today. I have started laundry and cleaned my bathroom and a little later, Dick is coming over and we are completing the white washing of my place. We are going to go to ACE and fill a bag for 20% off and I also have a $10 coupon – so it should be a pretty successful day!
I went to B & C’s Blog today and saw that they have finished their desk space area in their 5th Wheel. It is fantastic and so much better use of the space – even though my “bed” – the old couch is gone. I guess I’ll need a blow up mattress next time I visit with them! Don’t know when that will be, but I think it’s my turn to travel to them rather than them travel to me. We’ll see how that works out. Anyway, here is the link to their blog: http://viewsfromtheopenroad.blogspot.com/ and here are the pictures of “before and after”:
I think this is so smart. They are going to be so happy with that. They’ve already blogged about how much fun they’ve had watching the animal life out the window and how little they utilized the space before. Now their whole perspective is going to change. Really super!
I think I need to get going today. I know this is a little short, but I wanted to add a little something today. It’s not as cold this morning and it’s going to the 70’s today so Florida is thawing out!
Have a great day and thanks for visiting!

Well Mary, I never turn away from a rhyme or poem…so I did enjoy reading bits of beauty from Dickinson and Emerson.
My father–deaf-blind–with a huge sense of humor said frequently:
“Speeches and sermons (and blogs-grin?)
are like relative’s visits:
“Short and sweet
is hard to beat.”
Bye!

See you later. Thanks for getting the “creamer”. I was going to get enough for tonight in case Leo got busy.
