Good Morning Sunday, December 28, 2014

Hello World,

It’s Sunday and the last day of my “long” weekend.  Somehow I’m a little bummed out by that, but I get another long weekend next week, so that is something to look forward to.  Just took my first sip of coffee and I’m “perking” up!  The 3 days I’m at work next week will be “full out”!  Lily’s back for the week and it’s the end of the month and payroll, but then she is taking some more time off too.  She has worked so long at Moorings Park that she has over 700 hours of PTO and has to “use it or lose it”.  She keeps trying to take time, but it’s difficult as an administrator – so much responsibility!  But that’s gonna be the subject of my blog next week.

So this morning Wylie decided it was time to eat around 1:30AM.  When she tries to get me up, she keeps jumping over me from side to side and touches my face with her paw or paws at the sheets.  Why her appetite alarm went off at that time, I’ll never know.  So I let her jump around for a while and then made her run out to the kitchen and I closed the bedroom door (thought I’d try that).  Then the other 2 were scratching at the door from inside the bedroom and she was outside scratching on the door, so that didn’t work.  Finally I went back to bed and around the 3:30 time, I got up and fed the little critters.  So this morning this is what I had going on when I had to finally roll out of bed at 6:00:

Everyone in their "space".

Everyone in their “space”.

Somehow they gave me my own space on that bed – don’t mind that the bed isn’t made, I’m just tickled that they all find their own little area to share space together, but just far enough away from one another to be in their own “space”.  First thing I thought was that I needed to get a picture of this for “Wylie” – and here it is!  Now I’m going to go back and make the bed……….can’t leave an unmade bed!

Well I need to cut this short a little today.  I’ve got to get to church to set up and I’m running a little behind.  I’ll just leave you with one more picture though:

Metaxa in her cave.

Metaxa in her cave.

How sweet is that?  Unless this is cuter:

Too Cute!

Too Cute!

Or finally this one:

Metaxa trying out the new bed.

Metaxa trying out the new bed.

Bye for today.  Thanks for stopping by!

Forgive me for beginning a comment with a quote from your post. “I’ve got to get to church to set up and I’m running a little behind.”

My Pop used to say, “Better to run a little behind, than a big one.” (People with little behinds thought he was a witty guy. But he could not SEE whether he was talking to a group of “fatties”!)

Maybe I could have just NOT commented today–HAHAH!

“Cats-On-A-Bed” picture looks as if they’d fought over their special spaces, before settling in…LOVE it, Mary!

And…”Tiger” Metaxa poses in the darlingest, cutest manner, ya cannot look at Metaxa without SMILING. And that’s the way I’ll leave this comment: SMILING!
