Good Morning Tuesday, January 27, 2015

Good Morning Everyone,

Well I wasn’t going to blog this morning, but got into the site and it was just “calling” me to write something.  I’ve just started to use “Pinterest” and I’m finding that I really like it a bunch!  I’ve set up 5 boards and I’ve been adding things that “Interest” me.  I’m finding lots of things to “Pin”.  This morning I’ve found 2 things.  One is Steve’s Blog: http://www.stfourthdimension.blogspot.com/.  I put a cute picture of it on my board – let’s see if I can upload it here:

Love this pile of stuff - note the VW in the Garage!

Although I think the car is really an old Mercury like my dad had as his “Station Car” when I was growing up and we were SO EMBARRASSED by it, but he LOVED that car!  We got rid of it at some point and we bought a VW (boring beige) but that started my love affair with VW’s.  Here is my favorite car:

Meet Rose!

Meet Rose!

I’m so glad I fixed her rather than trade her in.  I think she is well now, but we’ll see.  At least I know she has new tires, starter, water pump and fairly new AC.  She’s got a lot of life in her and she doesn’t have any “dings” or other cosmetic problems.  Her glove compartment is broken and closed with a “bungee cord”, but that just keeps me humble and $500 richer.  I also disabled the sunroof since I never used it and it began opening on it’s own so I didn’t want that happening in the rainy season!

My friends are suffering with a really BAD winter storm up north.  Heidi in New Jersey, and Jenn and Janet outside Boston.  Suzanne and I are safely tucked away in the warm south – me in Florida and she in Texas.  We were texting back and forth yesterday sending prayers and support to all of my Beaches Buddies.  Here we are!

So looking back to the beginning of this, I said I found 2 things to pin.  The second one was a recipe for PIZZA on this Paleo diet.  Here is a picture of that:

Cauliflower Crust Pizza!

I’m so excited!  I’m CRAVING Pizza and it looks like this might work!  How exciting.  I hope Cathy reads this blog today cuz’ she’ll get around to TRYING it before I do.  I’ll have to give her a “heads up” to read Wylie today.

Well, running out of time.  I’ll leave you with this:

Do you remember “Soupy Sales”?  He used to have a show that had two characters White Tooth and Black Fang and they would just show their “paws” – you never saw them beyond that, but they were always talking to Soupy from off stage.  At least that is what I “kinda” remember.   This picture reminded me of that.  Of course it’s Domino – with his VERY SHARP claws trying to help me this morning!

Have a great day!  Thanks for visiting – on to Pinterest for a moment or two – Facebook??? What’s that????????

The pizza looks great! I’ll check it out. I have a pizza recipe I’m going to try Friday night. I’ll let you know how it goes.

      Hey Cathy,
Saw another recipe for PIZZA today too. I’m on the search for Ezekiel Bread and wraps. I think I’ll find them at Publix. Will look at Walmart but doubt I’ll find them there.

Thank you Mary, for honoring my “Fourth Dimension” blog on your Pinterest pages (in “blogs”). I’m liking this application more and more. I’m afraid it can be overwhelming. Suddenly I have LOTS of different “pinnings”, e.g., more bike helmets than there are bikers!

Comforting to piggy-back with you while learning more “which is being revealed”.

You have given Rose some new equipment–she runs good, she’s all yours…and you love her. Consider talking to someone like Steve Kirby for information about fixing glove box. There are hundreds of wrecked VWs some of which have intact glove boxes. You “get” what I’m sayin’? A dealer is not gonna DO that for you, but someone will, and Steve might know..
    .worth a “try-it”???

Usually you leave us with a photo or some words…always thoughtful. Today’s “CAT’S PAW” is really GoooD. www!

Thanks Steve – I’ll see Steve tonight and probably you too. So I’ll ask him about the “glove box” – Grape idea!
