Good Morning Tuesday, March 10, 2015

Hello Everyone,

Today is Tuesday and I’m not sure what this blog will say, but it is never really planned, it just happens.  Tonight I have our monthly Corrections meeting which means next Tuesday is our monthly Grapevine meeting.  I also have an additional event this week which is a Dinner for St. Matt’s on Wednesday night.  I was invited by Joe P.  I think it is because I’ve supported his “Golf” event in the past.  It should be fun.

It will be interesting to see the “Room” again set up for a dinner other than the “Gratitude Dinner”. I’m looking forward to “NOT” working the Gratitude dinner this year.  I think Gary will do a wonderful job.  Afterall, he organized and ran the “Rock & Roll Recovery Bash” last year and it was Great!  It’s happening again this year.  I’m definitely going to that!  I really liked it last year.  I even took a little “Grapevine” stuff there and we had the “Guess the number of Grapes” there.  Perhaps the “GRAPEMAN” will make an appearance:  That’s got me thinking…..

We’ll need to discuss that at our “Grapevine” Meeting!  Sounds like an “agenda” item!

So yesterday on FB a friend posted a beautiful picture of the sunset at Clam Pass:

It was actually two friends at the beach so I commented that it was a “great” picture to my friend Nancy who is a photographer/writer/songwriter/drunk – at least her email address leads you to believe she is a photographer, and then my other friend Mary shot back that “SHE” took the picture.  So funny!  Anyway, Mary has embarked on a new career as a flight attendant.  I think Mary also flies a plane so she must really like flying.  But also, this will give her an opportunity to travel which might be fun for her.  Not my cup of tea.  Anyway, I admire her for going through flight attendant school at her age which I would say her 50’s??  Not sure about that and wouldn’t want to offend her, but whatever her age, it’s a life changing career move.  I don’t think I’d ever have nerve to do something like that, but she is gorgeous and such a wonderful woman, I wish her well!

Now it’s time to get going, but I wanted to leave you with a beautiful picture from Steve!

Yup…busiest person I know is YOU, Mary! St Mathews’ Dinner with Joe P should be fun–you will know almost everyone there. I believe this is third year we’ve heard that you are bowing out of the Gratitude dinner. AND it is third year I’ve said something like: “Ah’m from Missouri, y’all’ll have tuh SHOW me!” IOW, I don’t believe you. HA!

Been thinking the Grape-man needs some “practice” before he forgets how–smiles!

Believing now that people should acknowledge whoever shot a picture, even those posted BY the photographer. Seldom am I so proud of a photo, that it does not matter. I shot the photo of Mary Pat at “Cookie” Anniversary, and I admit it tickles me to see the lovely comments she is amassing on her Facebook Timeline! HEY! THANK YOU for posting “my” Red along with your own prize RED!
When one posts another’s writing or photo, it IS an honor…

Getting ready for Ave Maria ride, weather looks good–almost!
    Nice Blog!
