Hello World!

It’s my last day before a very long Thanksgiving Holiday weekend.  Yippee!  So last night I was watching Dancing with The Stars – My favorite show (The Voice is my other favorite and I kept flipping back and forth last night), but I couldn’t stay up for the finale.  But luckily, the internet never sleeps so I found out who won and saw the reason why also – what a great final dance for Alfonso!  I liked all of the finalists especially Sadie – she was so cute and their dances were cute also.  But Alfonso RULED this season – just amazing and look what I found……

It took me a while to figure out how to get the picture, but I finally got it to download.  So I’ve always admired good dancers.  Loved watching dancing on ice growing up, but this DWTS show got my attention years ago.  I can’t dance – I used to dance when I was drinking and had “happy feet”, but I was never any good.  But I love this show and I’m so glad that Alfonso won.  It was a great season – I think one of the best.  I especially like to see men who are good dancers – something about that.  Anyway, “Carlton” Rules this year and I’m looking forward to next year.  It’s funny – I’ve been watching this show for so long, I even like Tom Bergeron and all of the judges:  Carrie Ann, Len, & Bruno with Derek’s sister this year (I forget her name however-Julianne Hough – Googled it).  The announcer guy says their names so often each week that it’s comical.  I wonder what his name is.  I bet I can “Google” it.  Didn’t find it – oh well.

So my plans are very open this holiday.  I’m going to meet Suzee at the 24 Hour Club like we did last year for Thanksgiving.  I’ll snoop around to see where the Intergroup Office will be moving if I can.  I think I’ll start going there more often now so I get used to the feel of the place.  I’ve especially been thinking about going to the Grapevine Meeting there – it’s on Thursdays at 5:30 – so I guess I could start tomorrow.  It is supposed to be cold but clear on Thursday.  Maybe a ride on Red will be in order.

I’d like to clean my porch this week.  It is really dirty from all of the rain lately.  I’m not sure I’ll get the energy to use the Power Washer, but I may.  We’ll see.  I’m just going to “play it by ear”.

I got some good news at church last Sunday – I don’t need to do a testimony any longer.  Michael changed his mind about that and that makes me really happy!  No worries about that anymore!

So that’s about all for today.  I’m supposed to be assessed this afternoon for my “working out” that has been nonexistent over the last 8 weeks.  I think I’ll probably throw the results off for poor Seamus.  We’ll see – maybe I lost a pound or 2.  Then there is the District meeting tonight.  Now “Black Friday” is not on my agenda – I won’t be darkening any stores on Friday – but there is always “On Line” shopping.
