Hello Everyone,

I got up really early this morning – Domino woke me up with a little “gift”.  Fortunately it was on one of the Oriental rugs so it didn’t stain the newly cleaned carpet.  That was a blessing.  Of course he was ready for breakfast right away.  Nothing keeps a cat down for long!

I took a picture of my new “nurturing” plant.  Also, my hibiscus is blooming too!

I want the bougainvillea to grow up the trellis and around the Palm tree.  I’ll try to train it to do that, but I know I need to look out for the prickers.  Wow “prickers” – haven’t used that word since I was a kid I don’t think – I guess the “adult” word is thorns.

Yesterday at work we had a little organization meeting about our “Variety Show” skit.  I was pleasantly surprised that so many people wanted to be in it.  It’s the same “crew” mostly, but a couple of new ones.  Majorie is going to be in it this year which is nice.  She is going to represent Haiti.  We have the Philippines, Haiti, Chile, Greece, Cuba, and the USA (that’s me).  Maybe a couple of other countries, I forget.  I have a “cowboy hat” from a couple of years ago and I get to wear my jeans.  Now I have another motivation to lose those “extra” pounds.

My printer isn’t working today – out of ink.  I thought it was just one color that was “done” but now it’s saying the other 2 are “out” and it won’t print.  So back to the office supply store this afternoon.  I love Office Max down by the Courthouse.  It is a beautiful store.  I swear, I’m gonna work there one day.

Good news on the Gratitude Ticket sales – we’re up to 105 sold.  I’m putting in a deposit today for 37 tickets.  So it’s getting done.  Still waiting to hear from a lot of “salespeople” aka Intergroup Reps.  My emails are “too long” so says Bill and he’s right so I’ll just send out something short and sweet next time.  Writing a “blog” gives me a tendency to be “long winded”.  But it is what it is.

OK time to get ready for work.  It’s HUMP day and Woman’s Meeting Day.  I’ll try to make it.  I have a meeting at 3PM and then I want to go to the Office Supply store so I doubt I’ll make it to the Gym today.  I’ll probably go to the beach if there is time before the 5:30 meeting.  Haven’t been there in a while.  I’ll take a picture if I go.
