Hello COVID-19 Stay at Homers! I am now able to say I am staying at home. I made it to CT-RV today and I’m all set to begin this new chapter in my life. It is going to be interesting doing all my next moves by phone. Today I went to my new house. It is now empty of the “staging furniture” and it looks amazing! Here are a bunch of pictures of my super new house!

So this is what I love about this new kitchen! First and foremost – a big double sink which is Black Porcelain. I have always had issues with the kitchen sink. I always dried it out and most recently – when I did the new kitchen in Naples, I had a stainless steel sink. One large sink and a smaller garbage disposal sink. These sinks are both big! The other problem I had with stainless steel was that it “stained”. It drove me nuts and I constantly dried it out to prevent that, but it didn’t work! Now we’ll see how these black sinks go. I also love the little island in the middle of it. I can put my airfryer and my Instant Pot on it and then put them away in the cabinet. Plus there are drawers that can hold all of the paraphernalia for both of those things. When I sent the picture of the kitchen to my Beaches girlfriends, they said maybe now I’d learn to cook. Maybe not – the microwave is really gynormous. I love the black side by side refrigerator. Oh and even better, the stove and oven are GAS. That’s going to be an interesting learning curve! So also – look at all that counter space and cabinets! There is a huge pantry also. There is a dishwasher but I’ve decided that I will hand wash my dishes. It’s silly to use a dishwasher for only one and with the problem I ended up with in Naples, I don’t want to run into that again!
Next big love of this place is the OVERSIZED Carport:
It is awesome! And we have a great front porch made of plastic recycling – will NEVER ROT!
I’m trying to figure out how to “screen” it in for Metaxa – a project for another day!
The floor is some type of linoleum tile. It is throughout the house except in the guestroom which I’ll have as my office and the bedroom. Looking forward to easy cleaning! I’m looking forward to seeing the oriental rugs in the dining room and living room. Can’t wait!
I love the shower. Now I’ll need to figure out which sink to use! There is also an alcove that will fit the mirrored wardrobe that I had in my hallway in Naples.
Look at this great closet in the guestroom/den:
I figured out how I’m going to put the desk. The window will be along the arm of the desk. So I’ll have a view while working on the computer. It’s exciting.
So that is it for now. I’ll start another one tomorrow with more pictures. This is so incredible. SO EXCITED! Thanks for tolerating my craziness – if you are! Thanks for visiting!
Ending with this one picture:
My free spot until I can move into my new house! SWEET!
