Good Morning COVID-19 Warriors! Today is Thursday, April 2, 2020. Yesterday on April Fools Day, I went to Pioneer Title and signed my papers so I am now the OWNER of #113 at Cochise Terrace RV Resort. So I took OTIS2 to her new home:
Look how big my carport is! It’s amazing!
This is my temporary home here at CT-RV.
Rick gave me a “fob” yesterday so I can open both gates with the fob. I also have a gate opener from Bill that I have in Daisy. I’m feeling more relaxed right now because my furniture will be getting here between April 13-17 so that is about 2 weeks away. I’m beginning to realize what things I’m needing to be a “home owner” again. First thing is a 50′ hose with a hose bib. I wanted to wash Otis2 yesterday and realized I didn’t have a hose to do it with. I could take the hose from Daisy, but I need them in Daisy for camping. During this 2 week period, I’ll start setting up the house. Another thing I need to do is get a shower curtain and bar to hold it. This is what my guest room bath looks like:
There is a fabric ruffle over this tub and it needs a curtain. I need a shower curtain with a “southwestern” theme. I don’t think the “palm trees” I have will look all that good there. But if I can’t get anything to match the ruffle, that “may go”. But I still need a shower rod for it. That’s the type of thing I need for the house.
At CT-RV we have a little “Barn” where when we can get together again, we can gather for entertainment and other activities. But here, they provide dinner 5 days a week. I believe it is done by volunteers. So last night I took advantage of the opportunity. They did Chicken Marinara and it was delicious. The dinner included green beans and a baked potato along with a green salad. It was very good!
I did not eat the potato, so I’ll do something else with that – maybe fry it up? No telling! So also, there was apple pie for dessert and I added some whipped cream to it. LOVED this too!
I think I’ll go take a shower at the clubhouse. I’ll be back later to continue this. Please come back.

How much $ for the dinner? Looked good. Certainly convenient.
