Ms. Days Ease RV Life #122

Good morning COVID-19 Warriors!  It is Friday, April 3, 2020.  I have been up since 4:40AM so that I could make it to the Morning Reflections meeting on ZOOM this morning.  It was a great meeting!  Since I was up, I decided to take my 1/2 walk early in the morning.  It was 50 degrees out but the sun was not so hot as it gets later in the day.  I feel good about that so it may be my new routine.  

I walked by this today:

There is a woman here who has been doing this chalk art all over the neighborhood.  I think it is really amazing.  And they show up in surprising places.  I think it is so cool!

I walked by my house this morning.  Here is a picture of my place from the end of the road:

Right now, I have no neighbors to my right.  To my left are my neighbors Barb and Bob.  I need to get the directory so I can learn names,

Gonna go right now, my washer and dryer are coming from LOWES right now.  I’ll be back!

So here are the new washer & dryer:

When I bought this at LOWE’S on line yesterday – it didn’t say that none of the attachments needed to be ordered separately.  So consequently, there were no hoses and no plug for the dryer.  Who would have known that?  So fortunately my Handiman brother Bill was able to go to ACE and buy everything he needed to install them.  Had to take 2 trips though because he didn’t realize there was no plug for the dryer!  I mean REALLY??  So he tested them and they are working fine!  I originally thought I wanted black because all of my other appliances are black, but the black ones were really expensive and now that I see them, I like the white much better in the laundry room!

SO the CDC is now saying that we should be wearing masks.  I tried to order 5 masks from AMAZON about a month and a half ago, but they never came.  I kind of forgot about it but the other day I saw that the women here at CT-RV were having a “sewing” party to make masks.  Then they sent out another email saying that the masks were available for us.  So this morning – before I heard about the CDC suggesting we wear them, I picked one up.  Now if that isn’t God working in my life, I don’t know what is.  SO now……..

Plus – I can’t touch my face when I have it on.  So now I just need to get a couple of more masks.  Cousin Luann is making them in Connecticut.  I just texted her to send me a couple.
