Ms. Days Ease RV Life #125

Good Morning COVID-19 Warriors! It is Thursday, April 9, 2020. It is 45 degrees outside this morning & 57 in Daisy. I think that today will be the day that I close on my house here. I wired the money on Monday and should have all of the work done on that. I’m going to contact Rick my salesman today as the day progresses, it’s only 6AM right now. I suppose I should wait a little to text him!

Yesterday it was really windy. I haven’t checked yet, but my chair might have blown away! Here is a sweet picture of Metaxa looking at the fan that suddenly came alive with the wind blowing:

Metaxa

Love that expression!  She is so adorable and such great company!

So this morning, I went for a 45 minute walk.  I ventured out of the neighborhood.  I found this way out today:

Look at that beautiful blue sky!  So pretty.  I thought this would take me out into the desert, but it was just a turn around so I turned around and walked down the road to nowhere.  I think it was built to start a development that never happened.  I walked down the road and saw some great wildflowers:

Daisies on the path!  Next I found these orange flowers:

So I’ve also been following our local “chalk” artist.  This is by the mailboxes:

This one is at The Barn at the Pick Up for Dinner:

So this morning I got a text from my friend Kevin from District 20 and he said my email got “hacked”.  So I went in and changed my password.  Told him I moved to Arizona and he sent me this picture that I sent on to Bill S for the Courier:

I took a video of my walk this morning.  It’s at 92% so I’ll upload it shortly.  I want to test out my generator so I’ll do that shortly.  It always makes me nervous to do that, but I know I’m supposed to “exercise” it periodically and I haven’t done it since I went “dry camping” with Bill, Cathy & Rich.

Tough little plants growing through the asphalt!  Amazing!

Here is the video from my walk this morning!

So this happened today:

Bill is a locksmith at Yellowstone so he and Cathy gave me a housewarming gift of new locks and door handles.  The original doors had the round door knobs and only one lock could be locked originally with the key they gave me.  So now, each door has the same handles and one key opens all of the locks!  LOVE IT!  Thank you so much Bill and Cathy!  I feel so much better about this!

I found HOPE today!  This too shall pass!  All will be well.  Trust in God!

Thanks for visiting today.  Time to get going.  The generator is working just fine!  I may go for a bike ride up to the house.  Or I may go into town.  Time will tell.  Have a great day and stay healthy!
