Today is 9/11. So I’m reflecting on what it was like on that day. I remember I was still with Cuisine Management. Working for Tony & Sukie. It was before I stopped drinking. I remember being at the bar at Ridgway’s (It may have been called Terra then, I can’t remember) but I couldn’t tear myself away from the TV all day. It was really awful. I’m sure I will never forget that day. Which reminds me, I need to put a post on FB about this.
So I got this picture from Peggy Williams. She is a new friend from Bonita who is in the Radio Play. It’s been fun getting to know her. She worked with Jim at FED EX in Memphis. She is really a great person and has a very similar life to mine. Lives alone and is retired. She likes crafts – especially sewing. She is a good friend to Jim who is struggling now because he has low energy due to cancer treatments and fell asleep the other night and wrecked his car at his community. Fortunately, he was not hurt. He is not driving now and is relying on his wife to drive him places. We are all blessed by having Jim in our life. We recorded the songs yesterday at the studio. Today we record the play. Not until 2PM because Joe P took a job and has caused a later start for us. I was pretty pissed yesterday, but I’m over it now. It is what it is. I will bring my own chair today and probably more water.
So I’ve done this:
The cost is $200 per night. I’m thinking about driving Daisy up to Detroit. I found a campground outside of the city, but I’ll need to figure out how to get to town and how to park if I rent a car. It will be expensive. I’ll just need to know how to get into town. Perhaps there is a train. Time will tell. I have time to figure it out. One thing at a time. First trip to Arizona and then figure out about Detroit in July of 2020. Then there will also be Sisters by the Sea in June 2020 and then Vegas in May of 2020. Who knows, maybe I’ll be full time in Arizona. Lots to consider.

Got to go now. Need to get to the 9:30 meeting. I’m then going to go out to Daisy and hang out for a while. May blog a little more on my iPad there. We’ll see.
