Ms. Days Ease RV Life #130

Good Afternoon COVID-19 Warriors.  It is SATURDAY, April 18, 2020.  Happy Anniversary (28 years) Bill and Cathy!  WOW!  Congratulations!  The longest marriage among our siblings!  That is SUPER!  You will probably make the 50 or 60 years together!  That would really be something!

So guess what?:

Daisy came home yesterday!  Her tire is fixed and I think the 12 Volt connection is fixed now too – that is TBD – we’ll check it out this coming week.

Now I can say we’re ALL HOME!  I love her being here and I think she will keep the sun off of OTIS2 in the afternoon.  That is so cool!

I put my desk on FB Marketplace out here:

Cathy showed me how to change my location from Naples to Benson.  I put it on the market place and had probably 20 people inquire about it.  I sold it to a very nice woman who sent her very nice husband and son to get it.  They even took all of my extra cardboard off my hands too, so I knocked the price down to $40.  I would have really given it away just to get it gone, but the $40 is nice.  The man told me that they had a fire in their house about 10 years ago and she hasn’t had a desk – she’s been using a folding table and chair for 10 years.  So now she is going to have a HUGE desk to organize.  That desk did me well for probably 20 years.  I had it on 9th Avenue South and Shadowood Villas which totaled at least 20 years!  It was in great shape!   When we started to move the desk, this is what was behind it:

I’m really glad that it didn’t fit through the door of my den because it would have overwhelmed my little den.  SO this is what the den looks like now with the furniture in it and I’m finally using Aunt Marjorie’s desk.  It has everything I need – only no file drawer:

I put Aunt Mary’s hand painted bird tiles under Charlie Ross’s clock.  I love seeing them everyday!  I haven’t had them in that prominent a place ever that I can think of. 

I’ll be back – going to a ZOOM meeting with the Naples Group.  Be back in an hour!

Great meeting with the Naples Group.  We did a Big Book Study.  Also today, there is a Big Book Comes Alive Workshop all day today and tomorrow.  I’m going to go to it again tomorrow.  I went today for the preface and the Dr.’s Opinion.  I listened for a while.  I think I’ll go tomorrow.  It starts at 9:30 AM Eastern which would be 6:30 my time.  I’ll probably be up, so I think I’ll try it for a while.  Then I’ll do it throughout the day off and on.

I think that’s about all for today.  It’s been a great day!  Got a lot done – even hung my clocks in the kitchen!  Got rid of the desk and all of the cardboard and saw 2 baby bunnies that I would have adopted if I had a place set up for them.  I could have made them pets and I think Metaxa would have liked them.  But I didn’t do it although I thought for a moment I would – they were SO CUTE!
