Good Morning COVID-19 Warriors! It’s a beautiful day here in Cottonwood, AZ. Thousand Trails Park is great! Went for a 40 minute walk this morning around the campers. Many are full timers living here. I wonder what that costs? They have the cutest little tiny homes here – which are actually trailers:

You can see where it is plugged in to a pedestal and the wheels. I had no idea when I posted the other pictures in my other blog.
Yesterday I went to Prescott and saw Ted & Cynthia Schleicher. I knew them when I was married and running the Chef’s Garden. Ted was one of our managers. I discovered that I came out to visit them on my own because I had been to their house before. I don’t remember if I was married or not but probably I was divorced at that time. Anyway, their house is super. The greatest thing about it was that it kept cool – made of concrete so they don’t even have an air conditioner! They just adopted another Golden – Cali. She was a “mother” – 4 litters and then retired. She is about 7. Sweet as can be! GREAT DOG! Cynthia reminded me that she and her sister Jan worked together with me at St. George and the Dragon! She also reminded me that we all quit on the same night, threw our uniforms away in the trash and changed into civies and went out and sat at the bar for a drink! Wow-those were the days! Anyway, I was there for about 5 hours yesterday “catching up” and I never took a picture. I just texted them to see if they could send me one. If I get it, I’ll add it here. WOW – Jackpot …..Got 2 great pictures!
Ted with Cali at home. Here is Cali at Granite Basin Lake. Beautiful dog, location and friends!
Today my plan is to take Otis out to scout out the nearest WALMART (I saw one on the way to Jerome the other day) so I can pick up some Bubly. Also I want to fill him up with gas. Once I figure out how to go there, I’ll take Daisy out and fill her up. I want to leave early in the morning so I can get to Old West RV Park in Monticello, UT. I went on their website – or somewhere – not sure they have a website so it was probably on RV Trip Wizard. Anyway this is a picture I found:
I guess it’s the Wild, Wild, West out there and I’m sure those six shooters are real! At least I’ll be safe – RIGHT???? The reviews on RV Trip Wizard are good and there are some great views of big, tall mountains from the park. It’s a long drive with lots of turns onto various highways. Should be FUN! Now that I know I’m supposed to push in the Tow/Haul button on the gear shift – thank you Bill Bass for your over the phone tutoring!
I decided to hang the Spinner here:
This way it may spin on its own when the fan is on or it is windy outside. I think I’ll make sure it comes down when I drive Daisy along with the map:
So speaking of the MAP – I’ll be able to scratch off Utah and Colorado on this trip! SO COOL!
I took a few other pictures the other day when I went for a hike on the trail they have here:
It was a bit rocky and I wished I had some trekking poles. I need those things. When I get to CO Susan said she wants to go to Camping World and I’ll see what they have. Watch out – might break the bank there!
This is the top of the trail. Great views. I need a good pair of binoculars. I have a tiny pair which I may take next time.
And finally for now, I took a picture of the back of the BABY Born Free:
Good Morning from Daisy & Otis2:
I’ll be back after my WALMART adventure. Thanks for visiting today! Come back if you want. I may or may not have additions to this blog. Just gonna keep you guessing!
