Good Morning COVID-19 Warriors! It’s not going away and I’m on day 121, I keep hoping it goes away, but I guess that isn’t going to happen anytime soon. One thing about this pandemic, it allows me time to watch things I would not normally watch. Case in point: the funeral of John Robert Lewis. I started watching it live on YouTube and wanted to watch President Obama’s eulogy. But in addition to his eulogy, President Clinton also did one and so did George Bush. WOW – what a legacy. I’ve been thinking about John Lewis a lot and all that he went through as a person of color. I lived through all of those times and never realized any of the struggle that they had to endure. I am blessed beyond comprehension and I’m beginning tr really see that now – only took me 69 years!
So now I’m so excited. I joined an “Online” Bookclub. I thought it would be cool to read books and be “paid” for it. So I signed up for a book entitled Zona: The Forbidden Land. So I downloaded the book for free on my Kindle and read it. It was a science fiction book and I really enjoyed it. I can really see it made into a movie with sequels in its future. Anyway, the first review “doesn’t count” they just want to see how you review. SO I got a score of 39 out of 100 so I figured maybe next time I’d do a better job. They give you feedback on the review (I had a couple of missing commas) and that was about all but it was helpful. ANYWAY, this morning I got an email saying i was PUBLISHED! I was SHOCKED! So here is my review:
I’m trying to figure out how to get the direct link to the review. I’ll keep trying!

I guess you’ll need to just click the link. Anyway, I’m going to search for a new book to review and this time I may get paid for it. I’ll let you know how it goes.
I just downloaded another book by Fred G. Baker and I’ll start reading it today. So I guess that is all for now. I may come back to this later.
Went for a walk this morning and took this picture showing Daisy at home all straight and ready for the electric to be installed. I sat in her yesterday and exercised the generator. At first it didn’t connect. I turned it off and then turned it on at the generator again. This time it worked. So I guess that is the answer about how it works. Just keep trying. I plan to “boondock” on my way home from Santa Fe at an alpaca farm in NM. I don’t think there is any electric there and because the temperature could be hot, I want to be sure my generator will run the AC. I’ll make that determination once I get to Santa Fe. I don’t have to give the farm any notice really so I can call them on my day of departure. More will be revealed.
This is how hot it gets here:
YIKES!!!!!!
