Today is Sunday, November 3rd. One more week and I’m “on the road”. I’m pretty excited about it. I’m really counting the days. Bill and Cathy are on their way to NC now. They are in Texas. I asked them to post pictures. Speaking of pictures, let me see if I can get a copy of Carolyn’s puppy Huck.
This is such a cute picture! Makes me really want a dog, but I’ve promised myself that I will only get a dog, when I get down to 1 cat which will be Metaxa. But there is a lot of life in Wylie still and that may or may not ever happen. I signed up to moderate Carolyn’s live feed tonight beginning at 8PM. I don’t know if she still needs more moderators. I’ve never done that, but I might try.
So we were supposed to turn our clocks back an hour last night and I forgot, so I have an extra hour this morning before the breakfast. I’m going to go dry my hair now. I’ll be back.
So this is weird. I took a picture of my “cleared off” dining room table and it would not let me forward the picture. That is how I get pictures in the blog. I go get them from my phone and I email them to myself and then download them to my file on my computer named “for blog”. I’m going to try it again, this time with my iPad.
So Suzee is excited about the bike. I’m glad for her. I am now waiting for the pannier bags that I ordered with the extra charger. I haven’t heard when they will be sent. So far, the company has been pretty good with shipping so I suspect I’ll be getting them soon. Maybe they will come while I’m gone and Suzee will be here to get them.

I put all of my coloring stuff away. I have stopped coloring since I seem to occupy myself with other things now. Mainly Daisy. I’m not so sure that this RV life is a money saver, more of a money taker. But then again, what is money for? It is to enjoy in my retirement and this is how I choose to use it.
The breakfast was great. Rick was our speaker. He did a great job. Clean up was finished at 9:40. I went to the store and bought the ingredients for my DA BOMB Chili which I am cooking in the Instant Pot as a “slow cooker”. We’ll see how that goes. I sauteed the turkey meat and then put all the other ingredients in there and it is now on slow cook for 4 hours. We’ll see how it goes. I have to remember to push the “start” button and be sure it engages. If this works, I’ll only need to take the Instant Pot in the camper. But I’ll have the smaller one to reheat items rather than the stove, although I could use that if I want to do it quickly, and I also have the microwave/convection oven. All kinds of ways to cook. I even have the portable grill and the George Forman grill to use if needed.
