Ms. Days Ease RV Life #50

Today is Thursday, November 21, 2019. I am settled in CT RV Resort in Benson, Arizona. My brother Bill and his wife Cathy have a home here and where they live, accommodates RV’s both at their home and also in areas specifically set aside for RV’s like Daisy. My views from my windows shows the mountains in the distance. Bill told me that I should hear coyotes, owls and other wildlife in the area and a train once in a while. I did hear a train this morning for the first time. I woke up to rain on the roof. I keep thinking how fortunate we were that every one of our driving days from Florida to Arizona were rain free. Sunny days everyday! It took me from Saturday, November 16 to Wednesday, November 20 to get from Florida to Arizona.

I just realized this is my 50th post about life with Daisy! CELEBRATION!

Today, I’m going to reorganize the upper bunk above the cab and make it my bed. I’m not sure which direction to make the bed yet. Once I figure that out, the rest of the area can be used for storage. This will allow the living area to have the 2 chairs and table, and a couch. I need to “tack” the quilt so it doesn’t hang down, I have a sewing kit and I’ll need to lie on the floor to do it. That would be a cute video!!!! I tacked down the quilt and it wasn’t easy and will be easy to tear out. I really need a half circle needle, the straight one is really hard to use. So I’ll get one of those when I think about it.

I took a picture of Bill and Cathy’s home. I really love it!

I love the way there is no grass and only stones! It allows room for their truck camper and the car port for their Jeep. They have a neat shed in the back that has Bill’s work shop. Everything is so neat and clean.

You can see that they have a corner lot. It’s really super!

So I discovered something, Bill told me it would happen, but Metaxa can climb a ladder! I had no idea!!!!

Proof that she can do it! Plus I just uploaded a video of her on the ladder! She is so smart!

I was hoping she would climb down the ladder like she did a moment ago, but you get the point. I’ve now moved my bed to over the cab and the couch is now just a couch, but it does work really well for NAPS!

I’ll be sleeping upstairs now. Metaxa will join me and Wylie has found her new spot!

There is room to store things up there too. You can see the broom and the cooler. I have a bunch of stuff up there. Mostly the “campsite” stuff, like the lighted Flamingo and the Flamingo Flag – they don’t like that sort of stuff here in the resort so it will remain up there until I go out to the woods.

I have used up my Hotspot/MiFi for the month and it will reset on Sunday the 24th so I’ll be using the park’s WiFi and it’s pretty slow so I’m going to slow down on the pictures and videos for a bit. But maybe not, we’ll see. I have all the time in the world now so what’s a little waiting!

Just got back from a wonderful dinner tonight at Bill and Cathy’s. Grilled chicken and veggie skewers! Plus a fabulous dessert that was mostly “healthy”! How lucky I am to be here! I love it.
