Good Morning everyone. Today is Sunday, November 24, 2019. Last night was the Gratitude Dinner. According to my friends it was great and over by 9PM. That was super! Some people went out after:

The Gratitude Dinner is over. They made $600 on the 50/50 and they also sold out of CD’s according to Suzee. That is still to be determined. I’ll wait to hear what it really was from Bill.
I was happy to know it was over by 9PM. It is also nice to be able to walk out and not have to clean off the tables. It may be more expensive than other places, but it sure is “no muss, no fuss”. They do most of the work. This is how the table looked when everyone sat down.
They preset the salad and dessert. That makes for a very simple buffet line. I heard the food was great. Suzee called me in the middle so I could hear the Spiritual Awakening Singers sing “DUI” to the tune of Jingle Bells. I was told everyone enjoyed the entertainment too! That was a first. So next year, they could sing a couple of the other songs and not repeat any songs.
Today, I’ll be going to church with Bill and Cathy. They will be here in about 20 minutes. I’m looking forward to it. Then we are going to the grocery store. I’m going to try to get a couple of frozen dinners to see if my microwave/convection oven will cook them. That would make things easier for me at dinner time. I’ll let you know how it goes. I first need to clear out the freezer of blue ice things!
Speaking of dinner. I cooked for the first time in Daisy last night!
Crispy Corned Beef Hash with cheddar cheese. I love cheese on EVERYTHING!! I was afraid the rig would smell like corned beef hash – although that wouldn’t be bad – but I used the fan over the stove and it seemed to have taken care of it.
