Good morning everyone,
So this is a milestone – 60 RV Posts! This morning (It is Friday, December 6, 2019) I’m sitting and watching the sun come up. I can see it out of the bathroom window and my side window. I took a picture of it, but it doesn’t give it the beauty it deserves. But I think you’ll get the point – maybe!;

So I held the phone correctly this morning! I didn’t need to edit this picture. Anyway, the colors were very vibrant and this picture doesn’t show any of it, but you can see that from my seat, I can look out two windows to watch the sun come up! It’s beautiful!
So I guess this is the post where I tell you that I’m considering relocating from Naples to Benson. I’ve let people back home know so they won’t be surprised by the post! I found a sweet little house (although the square footage is the same as the one I have in Naples) right behind my brother, The places here are interesting. They are manufactured homes and are brought in as “shells” and put together (double wides). Then the interiors are finished. The one I want has a bunch of storage – a HUGE pantry and a great laundry room. It will have a car port to protect my Jeep (another long story) and also there is room to park Daisy in the side yard. I’m really excited. I’ve put an offer in and I’m waiting for the counter offer. Maybe by Monday the 9th. We’ll see. Of course it is contingent on the sale of my place in Naples. That is the only way I can do it. It is a two bedroom, two bath. The kitchen is huge with a dining area opening up to it. I didn’t take a picture of the livingroom, but the views from the windows are really nice and I see the mountains.

There is a side by side refrigerator and it’s black! The kitchen has a gas stove and full size oven. I’ll need to get used to that! The white door in the corner is the door into the pantry and it is huge! It has built in wooden shelves! It may be the place for the kitty litter – I’ll need to figure the best place for that. I may put it in the laundry room which would work too. The floors are “tiled” but I don’t think it is real tile – more like a linoleum of some sort, but it is throughout except there is carpet in the “den” and the bedroom. There is also a dishwasher. The counter space is amazing plus there is the little island which will be convenient!
Here is a picture of the “Den” – second bedroom:

So I would use this as a den rather than a second bedroom. It is right across the hall from the second bathroom which is interesting – there are 2 doors to that bathroom and it’s a “walk through”. We figured that one of the doors would always be closed, otherwise they butt up to each other. Interesting! As I’m sitting here, it might be cheaper for me to buy the “model” furniture and sell my place in Naples furnished or at least sell my furniture. I don’t know, lots of decisions to make.
Here is a picture of the bedroom:

I think I’ll take a break right now. I need to get going because I’m going to Bill and Cathy’s to do my laundry while they go to Tucson for another doctor’s appointment. So I’ll take this up to their house while I wait for the laundry to be done. I’ll be back…………
I’m at the “laundromat” (aka Bill & Cathy’s) doing my laundry and looking out the window to the “wash” across the street. I love this view because, no house can be built there. My place will overlook this same view, but I’ll see the roof of their house. Let me go see if I can get a decent picture of my house overlooking theirs. I’ll be back! It is taking a while to get to my email. I’ll put it in later. Here is a picture of the “long hall”:

I was concerned that there might not be enough wall space for my pictures – not! Plenty of wall space. This is the hallway goes behind the kitchen and down past the den and into the bedroom. Lot’s of wall space!

So, this picture was taken from the back yard of my brother’s place. That is his back wall with an antenna in it. It seems that that the house was put on the lot “backward” but the views are prettier from the front porch from this direction. I don’t think anyone other than “family” would like to have such a close view of their neighbor’s back yard and roof, so that may be why the house has been sitting for a couple of years. Anyway, my brother has been watching this property as they were considering it a couple of years ago. So now it seems the right timing for me to get it. We’ll see how it goes.
I need to take another break. I need to go back to my rig and I’ll be right back. So when I left I thought, let me be sure to take my phone so I can take a picture of whatever, and of course I forgot my phone and low and behold, I now have a neighbor to the other side of me. It’s a HUGE Motor Home and on top of that huge thing (which I don’t have a picture of yet) they have a trailer with their “toys” and car! I don’t know how that works, but maybe I’ll see it when I go back after doing my wash. Anyway, they are from Minnesota and they said they were in my slot last year. They are Barry and Christy with their little dog and they know my neighbors Ted and Jane from last year. Barry said he is going to work here this winter. They are mid 40’s or so. Really nice. But their rig makes Daisy look like a little kid! Holy Cow! Wait until you see their rig – it’s gynormous!

So here is another view of the house. They will put a carport on this side of the house for my Jeep (it is included in the deal). We’ve discovered that the side door and kitchen window have been damaged due to rain on that side of the house and that is one of the things that needs to be fixed before we close on anything. Plus once the offer is accepted, I’ll get an inspector to come check it out. As we know it has been sitting for a couple of years.
So remember this view when I take a picture of my new neighbor:

But I just thought of another thing. Their rig is so big, it will prevent the sun from heating up my place. That will be good! Maybe? Time will tell!
OK so look at tiny Daisy………

Now that is a SERIOUS RIG! I think I’ll go out for a bike ride now. Wylie wants to eat and it’s too early, so I need to leave so she can relax and just wait a couple of hours. Metaxa is perfectly content on the second floor waiting for me to feed her. She is the polite (and scared) one! I’ll be back!

It looks perfect. I love a gas stove. They’re the best! I’m sure you could get some good $ for your furniture. They’re beautiful pieces. Find a good dealer perhaps. I’m glad to see a post from you…I know you’ve been busy but all things are falling into place. I may have to rescue some of your plants if you want! A second chance for them! Let me know if you need anything from me. My eye, packing or whatever comes to mind…Im here for you. Love you sista. One more day and IT’S YOUR BIRTHDAY! You’ll always be older than me…just remember that!

I suggest you slow down. Don’t buy anything. Stay there for a while, till you get tired of all that cactus, cold and rain and boring AA. That way you can return to Naples where you belong without any financial issues. And that’s all I have to say about that!
