Good Morning everyone! Today is Wednesday, December 11, 2019. It is 39 degrees this morning outside so I’m drinking coffee, listening to Country Music (CAVV-FM) and sitting with my cats on my lap – which is quite difficult when I need more coffee! But this is what I woke up to today:

This is a little better in color but still isn’t as good as the color really is. But it really is pretty outside! The colors are so vibrant!
Yesterday we went on a great adventure to Tombstone and Bisbee. It was pretty exciting! Tombstone was pretty much a tourist trap and wasn’t very crowded. We decided that it was probably because it is so close to Christmas. There was a stage coach that was pulled by two sad looking horses. Perhaps they were happy, but I doubt it.
But I was able to get this:

If you look closely, you can see my third (yes that is 3) pair of slippers. I think these will work. I am giving away the other 2 pairs! This is my second nite light. It is made out of copper and I love the little teardrop camper on it. I had been using the step light as my night light, but I didn’t want to “overuse” it so I was looking for a nite light I could plug in. I found a cheap one at Walmart that was LED but boring, so I bought this one yesterday and it is GREAT! It is almost “too” bright, but Daisy gets really dark when the lights are off so I didn’t want to fall on my way to the bathroom in the middle of the night, or step on Wylie on the floor by the heater!
Our next stop yesterday was in Bisbee, AZ. It is a quaint little town tucked into the side of a mountain. The houses are really neat and the shops are pretty cool. We even found an old “JC Penney” and I sent this picture to Jenn since she used to work for them back in the day. Her father was an exec with them:

We went into a lot of shops like this on our adventure yesterday. Mostly antique stores, but really interesting. So one of the things we did yesterday was to drive up a mountain road to the top of the mountain in order to look out at the Mexican “Border Wall”. It was a scary drive. Luckily Bill and Cathy had done it before so they knew it was safe – I wasn’t so sure! It was pretty sketchy if you ask me. Here is a video, that doesn’t do the terrifying feeling justice:
Here is the picture of the wall – it’s the black line you see in the distance.

So at the Ranger Station I put on the helmet and held the sword! Funny times:

I didn’t read up about this Memorial, but I will one day and it may make more sense!
I have a phone interview with the folks at Yellowstone on Friday at 10AM. The important thing is that I have a place to park my RV out there. That would be a deal breaker if that couldn’t happen. So we’ll pray there is a place for me.
Time to take out the trash! Gonna bundle up and then take a bit of a walk. The knitted hat will also be part of the ensemble! I’ll be back!

You make a mighty conquistador!! Wonder if Trump’s wall someday will be another tourist trap, like the Great Wall of China??!!! So much for our “cool “weather here…yesterday and today;record highs😥😥
