Ms. Days Ease RV Life #64

Good Morning Everyone,

Today is Friday the 13th! It’s going to be a great day and I’m pretty excited. I am going to be interviewed to work in retail at Yellowstone this summer. My brother Bill and sister-in-law (SIL) Cathy have been doing this for many years – I think 15. Anyway, he works in IT & maintenance and Cathy is a trainer and a campground manager. They have been enjoying it so I thought it might be something I would like to do. It will keep me busy and I’ll learn a lot about Yellowstone. I think I’ll try to watch the Ken Burns’ documentary about the National Parks. In fact, I think I have the DVD – I’ll have to check.

JoAnn is going to my house today to get the pictures taken for the listing. She sent me this picture of the dining room/living room. It looks amazing. It’s good to have someone do that because they have an objective eye.

She took one of the table leafs and put it in the extra bedroom. She also took the big chair and put that in the bedroom also along with the lamp. I have a picture of that too.

So there is still room in there to put items if she wishes to do that. Anyway, she is there now to meet the photographer so it will be neat to see how they work things out.

So today, Metaxa was “climbing the ladder of success”:

Metaxa on the Ladder of Success

So last night, Metaxa got behind the couch again and figured out a way to bypass the cardboard and get into the lower storage bin. I couldn’t believe it, but she is very stubborn and persistent. It is very cold in that bin, so of course I don’t want her to be able to do that, so I’ll need to work on preventing that again. All of a sudden, after being down there, I heard a big crash and she had managed to open the cargo door under the bed into the rig! WOW! Unbelievable! She is like a “dog with a bone” when she wants to do something! It’s amazing how she can squeeze into that small area!

Last night Cathy cooked for us! It was amazing as usual! Here is the result:

Salmon with tomato salsa

They get the salmon fillets at Costco – they are frozen and natural (can’t remember the name, but not farm raised). It was delicious. The potatoes were the bed under the salmon and the salad was baby lettuce. Everything was amazing – definitely restaurant quality! She seems to do it effortlessly! Love that skill!

As I was walking home last night under the Full Moon, I took this picture: It’s pretty messy – not clear – but you get the point!

It lights up the rig all night!
