Ms. Days Ease RV Life #66

Today is Tuesday, December 17, 2019. It is really cold this morning. I woke up and it was 27 outside and 55 inside. I turned on the furnace and we now have 64 inside which is still a little chilly but outside it is 40. I’m staying inside Daisy until it gets into the 50’s. It’s 9:30 so that probably won’t be until noon. Sure glad I don’t have anywhere to be! I was able to take a shower so I feel much better now. People are still walking for exercise, but I’m not going to do that. My blood is still on Florida time.

This is how the girls keep warm:

Keeping warm!

That doesn’t last for long, but I love it when it happens!

The other day I went for a walk – I do that most days and sometimes twice and this was how the day was and the mountains looked so pretty!

Entrance

The other night Cathy made dinner and it was the most delicious meat loaf with a diced tomato sauce. It was great and she made cauli mash too with green beans! It was super. I’ll be glad when my stuff is out here and I can have them over to dinner, there is a lot of meals to be made up! Anyway, this is the plate: Again……..restaurant worthy!

Meatloaf

Continuing this on Wednesday, December 18, 2019. It is 30 degrees outside today. The kitties and I are warm in Daisy at 61 degrees. I am using the furnace and started it last night at midnight and was happy that it works so well. It will be interesting to know how much LP Gas it uses.

Last night I took Bill and Cathy out to dinner at Mi Casa Restaurant in Benson, AZ. The food was amazing and I brought 1/2 of it home for another meal. The place was pretty small and did not serve alcohol. It was great! The food was great and the chef is a woman and her husband is the server named Andy! I should have taken a picture of my dinner, but I forgot. Bill and Cathy had a taco and enchilada. I had a big burrito. The plates were really well done! You can tell that the chef takes great care in the presentation. She even made little Christmas decorations for the plates out of chips – Christmas Trees, Reindeer, Snowmen etc. Very impressive! I’ll take them there again. They’ve been so nice feeding me throughout this time, although I did cook a meal the other day on the stove. It will be good when I get my “stuff” out here and can set up a kitchen.

Speaking of Kitchen: Here are a few pictures from the “staging” of my house. JoAnn and Michele did such a great job! Makes the place look amazing!

Kitchen

She took this “close up” because she wanted to show off the countertop!

Staged Den

It’s gonna be interesting to get back home in January and try to find all the stuff that Michele put away somewhere! I just really need to find the District 20 stuff so I can pass that on to the new treasurer – Maria.

Living Room

She put on all of the lights which brightened it up tremendously.

Also, here is a picture of the dining room with the smaller table and chairs around it. It looks amazing!

Dining Room

All in all, the place looks amazing. It has certainly given me a greater appreciation of my “stuff”. Oh, yes one more: Bedroom:

Bed Room

Michele took off the family pictures off of mom’s dresser and other things off of dad’s dresser. It looks so much better! There are a few more pictures on the “portal” at Downing-Frye but these are the best ones. My lanai looks pretty dirty unfortunately. I think I’ll give Mouse a text to see if Matt can do the lanai. I have a pressure washer in the garage he can use. We’ll see how that goes!

Your house looks very sellable. What are you asking for it? Does the staghorn fern get pictured?
