Happy Christmas Eve, December 24, 2019.

Went for a walk this morning and it’s supposed to rain today, so I’ll be inside most of the day until we drive to Sierra Vista to church. Then Christmas Eve dinner at B & C’s. Breakfast and gift opening (the one gift I’m getting since I already opened my gift from the girls) but at least I’ll be celebrating Christmas with family and a real Christmas Tree! All is well!

The wind is picking up so I’m glad I got out when I did before that started. I filled up my water tank and had a nice conversation with my neighbor, Barry. He is such a nice guy. He’s thinking about buying the lot he is on and putting a park model on it and then sell the rig he has. He thinks he’ll be leaving at the end of March to return to MN to work on the house he is building. This is what his site looks like:

I just got a quick tour of the inside of the Toy Hauler. It has an attic where his little car fits and then is lifted up and his Dune Buggy goes in under it. That will be fun to see how it comes together when they take off in March.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! I’m continuing this on Christmas morning. It is 42 degrees outside and 62 degrees in Daisy. We are up and watching the sunrise. I love being able to blog and watch sunrise. This is my view from my chair:

The pictures are having a hard time traveling through the internet this morning! Last night we went to church and then came home to enjoy a home cooked meal of manicotti and salad with the most delicious coconut cream pie! Cathy did an amazing job with dinner – as always. And the table was set beautifully. They were saying it was their first Christmas in their house. I feel so blessed to be part of that!

So this is B & C’s wedding china. They say they haven’t used it in many years (I think they said 20). It is so beautiful and their glassware is very elegant! They made the napkin holders with PVC pipe and hair clips! They just had 3 clips which was perfect for us!

So I got this Christmas Tree this morning in a text. I’m going to put it here in the hope that it will show the GIF;

Yay – it worked! I love this version of WP. It saves a lot of time when I upload pictures because it orients the picture automatically and I don’t have to do it myself. Usually when they do an upgrade, I don’t like it, but this one is great!

Here is my Christmas present from Bill and Cathy! I love this calendar. They make one up each year with great pictures from their adventures. This year they put in a picture that I took in November for the month of November.

This picture was taken with my iPhone! I thought it came out amazing and Cathy used it which made me feel really great. So now my calendar is up for the year in Daisy!
