Good Morning Everyone! It is Saturday, January 18, 2020. I am now back in Benson, AZ and it is so good to be back in Daisy with my two kitties. I think they missed me because they are doing this today:

They don’t usually share a space, but sometimes in the morning they like to sit on my lap, which isn’t easy! It’s sweet though!
So yesterday I drove my rental car to the airport and took off from RSW at 7:30 AM on Delta. It was RIGHT ON TIME! We flew to Minneapolis – weird! And also it was not a full flight – but who would want to go to the snow country……..

The airport in Minneapolis was so CROWDED! Lots of families and lots of KIDS! So then Cathy reminded me that it is a holiday on Monday. So that explains it. Funny, since I’ve never had any kids, it is something I don’t think about and now that I am retired, I don’t worry about holidays at all since everyday is a holiday! But that reminds me that Monday may be difficult to move to SKP Co-Op since it is a holiday, but we’ll see. I’m going to drive my JEEP there today and begin my new freedom of having my own car here in Benson! GPS will have a work out!
So I now have a new routine – I’m trying to get to 10K steps a day and the other day I made it – after 5 days! Anyway, I always put the pedometer on when I get up and count those steps around the house. So this morning I did it and I’ve only put 6 steps on it. Funny thing about a tiny house on wheels – not many steps available in it!
So my JEEP made it to Benson and Bill was able to get it to my site before he needed to go to Tucson. The drivers parked in the LOVE’S down the road. When Bill & Cathy got there to pick it up, it was off the truck already and ready to go. I can’t tell you how great it is to have it here. So they started a day late from Florida and got it to Benson a day late, but that was OK – now that it’s over! So for $800 I got it here without wear and tear on me and on Otis2. So off for adventures I’ll be going!
Christmas has arrived again in Benson:

I sent myself 8 boxes of “stuff” from my over stuffed house in Naples. Mostly it was clothing that I could use out here. I also sent “ALEXA” – and my small GPS that I will use in Otis2 when it gets here. For now I’ll use the new one. I also had some Kitty Litter Pellets at home, so I sent them out here. So each time I open a box, I’ll have a little celebration and try to fit the stuff in here without too much trouble. One thing I regret not getting here was Suzee’s Map. It was too big to “if it fits it ships” so I’ll need to send that out with my other “stuff” when I sell my house in Naples. But I have picture of it, so that will work in a pinch. Plus I put it on the wall where the Grandmother’s Clock had been and it fills the space a bit.

Oh……..the SUN is coming up! Love this view:

So in one of the boxes was this:

I bought a Head Lamp with a rechargeable battery and 2 small flashlights. You can never have too many flashlights. Ever since I saw the headlamp that Bill had so he could cook outside when it was dark, I wanted one and somehow I got a promotion to get these 3 items from some Chinese company – can’t even remember how I got them, but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. So now I can keep both hands free and have a flashlight available. It really works great! So happy with them! I bet I can even read outside at night when it is dark now.
So my project now is to get my JEEP hooked up so I can pull Otis2 behind Daisy. I need to “research” how much this rig can tow and how much my Jeep weighs. I think I’ll go to GOOGLE. Be right back! Google wasn’t much help. I did find out that my Jeep weighs between 3,879 & 4,921 pounds. I also learned in the MANUAL that Daisy has a Class 3 Rated Hitch. So I need to figure out the GCW (Gross Combined Weight} and the GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) and I have that on a cabinet door in the Kitchen. I’ll take a picture of it:

So if Otis2 weighs at most 5K pounds, the whole package, Daisy and Otis2 can not be over 20K pounds and at the most Daisy would weigh 14K pounds, I’m under by 1K so I guess that means that all my “stuff” in Daisy needs to be under 1K pounds. So today, when I’m “out and about” in Otis2 I might drive her to LOVE’S and weigh her. Then when I get her hooked up I’ll weigh the whole package and by then I’ll have tested the weighing thing and know what to do. I’ll report back.
I’m off now. It is still 36 degrees outside, so I’m testing Janet’s jacket to go walking to the trash. I’ll report back on that too! I’ll be back later.
