Happy Monday Everyone. It’s the beginning of the week and it is Monday, January 27, 2020. I went for my walk this morning and walked up a “wash” that took me to the bridge by the dumpsters. It’s fun getting to know the lay of the land around here. Today, the temperature is 58 at 10:45 AM. I thought I heard that it was raining out this morning, but it wasn’t. My chair stayed out all night and was dry as a bone this morning. That’s the difference in living in a dry vs humid environment. I also uncovered my bike and I think I’ll go for a ride around the park today this afternoon.
This morning I “dumped” my tanks. It’s been 17 days with 2 weeks in the middle there when I was in Florida. I’m still trying to figure out how long I can go without having to dump. I think I could have made it until Saturday, but I thought I’d just do it today instead of waiting. I am excited because I have the main door open and the screen door shut. I’ve been wanting to do that ever since I’ve owned an RV and now in Arizona it is working. It’s nice to be able to hear the neighborhood.
There is a new lot available here for us. It is number 160 and I walked by it today and I really like it. I think I’ll go through the whole process this Saturday. Last Saturday, I didn’t call to put my name on the list. I know it’s a long shot for me to get a lot this quickly plus I really am going to hold off until my place sells in Naples – or so I believe I will. Here is the layout of the park and you can see that 160 is close to the open desert and just 1 lot in from the street.
