Good Morning Everyone,
Today is Thursday, January 30, 2020. It is 31 degrees outside and 63 inside Daisy. I didn’t get out of bed this morning until 7:30AM! That is a first here in Arizona. I woke up earlier but decided there wasn’t really any reason to get up so early. Wylie is keeping me even warmer by sitting in my lap. I got up at 4AM and turned on the furnace. It is still running, 5 minutes on 20 minutes off, but I would guess it will be finished cycling soon. I’ll put it back down to 50 for the rest of the day.
So the other night I came home to a note on my step telling me that I had to move from site 257. My neighbors didn’t think I would need to move until March since the owners were not supposed to be back in town until then. So now they are all aditther about what may have happened to them to cut their trip short. More will be revealed! So now I am located in the main section one road down from the Clubhouse in site 193. I’m facing East so the sun comes up through the windshield rather than the bathroom window, but that will mean my sunsets will be through the bathroom window which will be nice. I do have a nice view of the mountains from the yard. I sat out yesterday with my awning out. But the wind came up so I put it back away. Which was smart because the wind picked up in the afternoon. I’ll try it again today, but Bill taught me to be sure to only put the awning out when I’m around so I can quickly put it away.
My new site at SKP Saguaro Co-Op. Here is the view from the other side:
The members call this the “Outhouse” site! Wonder where they get that idea! Anyway, the shed is really tiny. I guess the owners have a big rig that doesn’t require a big shed for storage. My neighbor to my left is “busy” – they have a bunch of “stuff” all over their yard. I haven’t seen anyone outside yet so I’ll be interested in meeting them.
So this version of WordPress has reverted back to an older version and it is more steps to put in pictures. And there isn’t an icon to add video now. I’ll need to work on that, because I like adding videos. We’ll see how that goes.
I am going to set up a mail forwarding account through Escapees. I’ll still have a “Florida domicile” because the address will be in Florida. I found out there is a notary here in the office so on Tuesday I can get the forms notarized.
I messed around with the icons and found a way to add videos, so I guess everything is OK. I just have to play around with it.
So yesterday the Impeachment trial went to asking questions which were interesting. It does allow the senators to get involved now. It went to 10PM last night which is the 8 hours of questioning so I guess that is what will happen today. So I may go for a little road trip today. I plan to make it to a noon meeting and then I think I’ll drive to Tombstone to pick up a badge for my collection. It’s only about 25 miles from here. It will give me a chance to use the GPS in the Jeep. But I first need to put some air in my right rear tire. There is an AIR station here that can be used for free and it also has the tools to read the air pressure. I just hope I can figure it out. Maybe someone will be around to help me. Once I do it I think I’ll be able to do it on my own. I really need to get more independent since my brother will be gone in April and I’ll be on my own.
I went to Tombstone to get a patch. This is where I parked unknowing where I needed to be. I ended up almost across the street from the Courthouse:
Courthouse in Tombstone
This is the patch I got:
Wylie wanted to see what the patch looked like – so funny! Actually, she wanted me to feed her, but I love her little feet in the picture.
So I’ve said before that I’m directionally challenged and all I can say is I’m glad I have GPS because I got turned around in Tombstone and started going the wrong way on 80. I finally got going in the right direction and I did make it back to the Noon meeting which I really enjoyed! So life is good and I’ll continue to enjoy this journey even if I’m going in the wrong direction! Thanks for visiting. See you next time!

Tell me about your noon meeting. There will be a memorial at 24 hour club on feb 28th for Danny. He did not have a heart attack. Accident was human error. I spoke with a few of the other riders who were with him. We have a new vanity in the aa office. the water stream lights up which is very cool but I did not know this when I bought the faucet. .now I know why it was so expensive! Ralph has agreed to rejoin the steering committee. My tomato plants are thriving. Should have vine ripened fruit in a week or so. we have cool mornings and perfect noon and afternoons. that new 2:30pm meeting is now meeting every day! God is good to Naples AA.
