Olivi@ & Otis RV Life #21

Happy New Year!

It is December 31st and I am going to Bill’s house for Dinner. He is cooking duck! It should be wonderful.

I’m trying to get used to 2 cats in the yard. Missing my Domino. I think his sisters miss him too, although you can never be sure about that!

My computer is with Jeff right now, so I’m using the District 20 computer to do this post. I love this computer. It makes me realize that how nice a laptop can work and be quick about it. Typing is a dream on this! I sure hope Jeff can clean it out for me. I gave it to him at 9AM today and it’s 5 and I haven’t heard back from him. I don’t really care how long he keeps it as long as it comes out better.

Dick, Doug & I went to the Night Lights at the Botanical Gardens on Saturday. We first stopped at the Food Trucks for dinner. I tried the curry. Next time I’m going to try a different one. The curry was good. Dick and Doug had Hot Dogs. Just not enough food for me! Then Dick bought some bignets at one of the trucks which were really good for dessert.

I didn’t think the light show was as good as it was the other year we went, which I think may have been 2 years ago – I can’t remember if I went last year. Anyway, Doug was having some trouble keeping up so we didn’t stay long. I’ll post a picture of my favorite light:

Blue Lights at Night Lights 2018

I really liked the way this picture came out. Suzan took a picture of herself in the blue aura. It was pretty cool. There was a nice guy playing the electric violin who was very talented. There was also another singing group with a woman singer who we could hear, but didn’t stop to enjoy.

Here is another picture of the lights:

Night Lights 2

This one was pretty also.

So I got this picture of Domino from Michele that she said was taken in July. He looked a lot fatter and healthier.

Domino before he got sick in July 2018

I don’t feel “as” guilty about him now. He was so adaptable and most cats are. They will go on and on and finally give out. But I must say, euthanasia is so humane. He slept through the entire thing. Just drifted away. It is a blessing! He will be missed!

So this just happened: Food Angels 2018 Wrap Up – AMAZING!

Time to get going to Bill’s now. Happy New Year! Thanks for visiting.
