Olivi@ & Otis RV Life #23

Good Morning Everyone,

I am writing inside of Olivi@ and I am on my first SOLO camping trip. Already I’m learning lots of things. First thing, was that I didn’t turn on the breakers for my camper so for the first hour or so, I was running off of the battery. That was funny because the only thing I was running was my fantastic fan. Then I realized that that I needed to turn on the breaker – note to self – turn it off when leaving on Friday. I also wanted to plug in my Flamingo and there is a 110 outlet at the box too. I was trying to figure out how I was going to plug it in and the only thing I came up with was that I would need to use the kitchen plug and then close down the back of the kitchen but I didn’t want to do that. So problem solved.

Night Lights

OMG – I just realized that I put this picture into my post yesterday! I guess that is what happens as you age! Well, at least I can still climb up into Olivi@ and blog in my PJ’s! So much fun! So an Airstream just left the camp. I would have liked to have seen that one inside! So I get up this morning to make coffee and realize that I forgot the coffee. The only thing I can think is that I took it out to repack the kitchen and left it on the washer. Anyway, fortunately (God works like that) Lon my neighbor was up and getting ready to go fishing with his buddy in Goodland and I asked him for a scoop of coffee. This is what he did:

HAZELNUT………..SCORE! So good! It is 9:30 and I’m still in my PJ’s and this is so much fun! I still have coffee to drink!

Guess what? I did have my coffee, it was in the sink!

Coffee in the sink!

It rained last night and this morning and now the sun is out so I suppose I should think about getting dressed and going for a walk around the campground. This place is packed. So different from the time I was here before with Bette and Suzan. We were the only ones here practically.

Oh yea, now I want to add the video of my wildlife at the camp:

OK so that didn’t work like I wanted it to do, but I think it will work when I update it. Let’s see. So if I remember how to do this. Put the video on YouTube. Figure out the link – this is sketchy, but once that is done, I can copy the link and send it to Gmail and then copy the link and just “Copy” it into the post. WP will embed it for me.

So I guess that is enough from me for now. I should get going. trying to figure out how much privacy I need to get dressed. I may come back to this after my adventures today.

I went for a 40 minute walk. Went down by the boat launch and walked to the Ranger station, the homage to Barron Collier & the Walking Dredge. Here are my pictures . (I’m doing this on my iPad & the pictures are so much easier to put in).

Walking Dredge

I think that is all for now. I’m going to turn off the AC & open the windows. It’s much cooler now & I want to experience sunset & should change out of shorts into long pants & sneakers. So see you tomorrow!
