Wow – so I’ve made 25 posts in Oliv@ and Otis. Overall, I’ve made over 400 posts. I should go back and re-read some of them. Last night I was deleting messages from “Messenger” and they went back 2 years. Still had messages to Roy and others who are no longer with us. It is interesting to do that and I’m sure it helps with the storage on my phone! Who knows really!
So when I begin to write a blog, I usually go to my phone and check out my recent pictures. There is this thing happening on FB that has you go back to find a picture 10 years ago versus today. So this is one I found! It’s me on my FIRST motorcycle. I forget what it was, but I remember it being too big for me and I sold it pretty quickly:

This was taken behind the Brown Bag when it was downtown. I remember that I liked parking it in the back because I could not maneuver it very well and it gave me a lot of room to walk it around. I sold it to a friend of Kent’s – he worked as a consultant at Moorings Park. Wonder if he still has it? Yesterday I was going to go “practice” with Otis and Olivi@ at FSW State College parking lot backing up, and my neighbor Craig stopped by to help me back up to Olivi@. He told me he had 4 motorcycles! Currently! 2 touring bikes and 2 others. He is pretty cool. He has lived here for many years. His mother owns 2 condos that she rents out and she lives in a house down on Marco right now. He said she’ll eventually give up that house and move in to one of these condos. I thought he might be a good guy to have around to help me with my awning when I go camping with it. I bought an ARB awning. It weighs a TON and I need to get brackets made to put it on the roof rack. But I have to take one of the poles off of the roof rack in order to get it into the garage. Ideally, it would be great to put the awning onto the roof of Olivi@ and leave it there, but I don’t think that is possible.
So next I picked this picture to add to my collection: My LAST motorcycle:

So this got me thinking about all of my motorcycles/scooters during my life here in Naples. It started out with this one:

Then I sold that one to a neighbor when I lived down on 9th Avenue South. It was actually a server at Ridgway’s. Funny. But I graduated to this one because it went faster and could get me into traffic easier.

That was the one I traded in for my TRIKE. In between I had a Honda Shadow and a Harley Sportster. That was the motorcycle that I had my accident on: Remember this:

So here is a picture of both my scooter and Harley in the garage!

I forgot I named it Cierra. Where that name came from, I do not know. Anyway, that was the one that I had the accident on. Not my fault and I was able to get a little money out of the accident. Thankfully – was able to pay my hospital bill and doctor’s bill – it was before I had medicare! I really liked that motorcycle. But I sold it “as is” to John Butler. I think he still has it. He didn’t have a driver’s license at the time, but was willing to take it and fix it.
Well now I want to upload a video. Not sure I can do it, because each time I do it, I do it differently. Anyway if I get it to work, it will be of Wylie and Metaxa and the new “Cat Cave”.
OK so this is how I did it. I went to YOUTUBE on GMAIL and then right clicked it and copied the link. Then I was able to imbed it and voila! There it is. I first had to upload it to “my channel” on YOUTUBE. So there you go!
I guess I’ll stop now. I want to go to church. Haven’t been there in 3 weeks. Have a great day! Thanks for visiting!
