Hello Everyone,
So it is Sunday, May 26, 2019. I just got a NEW COMPUTER. It is Beautiful! I bought it at BEST BUY with the help of my Website Buddy – Chet. I spent too much money on it, but what else is new? Anyway, so far I just LOVE IT! It is quick and I no longer need to worry about not having enough room on it to do all that I like to do. I’m typing on the keyboard now and it feels GREAT! This is how it looks on the desk!
I love it! It makes a little more noise than the white one, but I have the fan for it to sit on and it is keeping it cooler.
I just put my sticker on the back of Olivi@. I can’t finish the job until tomorrow at 4, but when that happens, if I send a picture of the sticker to where I bought it, they will send me a new sticker. So that is a project for tomorrow.
I just arranged a meeting and picnic with John. We’re going to go to the 5:30 meeting and then on to “somewhere” for a picnic. Probably where we went before, but who knows, maybe he has another plan. In the meantime, I think I’ll close this for a while and see if I can rest a little before we meet up. It’s exciting! I was going to work with the new tent in the garage this afternoon, but ran out of time so that is for another day – maybe tomorrow.
Starting again today, May 27th – Memorial Day 2019! My flag got caught in my garage door, so I need to throw it away and replace it. I think I’ll go to Walmart later and get a new flagpole and flag.
So I bought a Hasaki Shade Tent. This was the tent I bought a while back and then returned because I thought it was too light. Now I realize that I was comparing it to the “tent room” which is much heavier but we all know what happened with that…..
The tent room is a “game changer” for me and Olivi@, but in the heat of Florida, it is too heavy and HOT. So the shade tents will be better. I now have 2 shade tents. Much lighter and easier to store. I bet I’ll probably just bring those two tents and not bother with the heavier tent room until it gets “colder” for camping. I’m practicing in the garage today!
I am doing this blog on my new computer and I have to say it is so much faster than the old HP Stream computer I had. I am going to give it to Jeff. I’m going to see if I can find out what a new one costs. Be right back! OK, a new one is $219.00 so I’ll offer it to him for $100. My new one with all of the bells and whistles, cost $700. I’m grateful for the money I got from Aunt Pat. Now with my two tents, and this new computer, I REALLY think I’m done spending money. I have said that a LOT, but this time I think I’m good! I can’t think of anything else I want or need. So let’s just settle into RETIREMENT and go from there. I think John Beane will be happy to hear that!

Using my new computer has made blogging so much more fun and quick! Turning the pictures from email is so fast! I am TOTALLY in love with this new computer! I’m using the larger screen at home to work, but I’m sure that when I get to Intergroup on Friday, I’ll be happy with just this screen. Plus it is a touch screen, but I’m not sure I’ll be using it that way. No telling. Maybe later when I get used to it. My mouse is working GREAT too! Wow! Life IS good!
So I think I’ll go out to Walmart now. I’ll be back in a bit perhaps. Got the flag, saw Ralph there.
So I couldn’t wait…….
Now if you are following me, you can see something more interesting than just the kitchen cover. I hope it stays on for a while and doesn’t dry up and flake. It cost about $30 so it should have some life in it. I love it!
