Today is Sunday, July 14, 2019. I am only one day away from my first SOLO trip in Olivi@. For some reason I’m a little concerned, but I need to work through the fear. I am seriously thinking about selling out and living fulltime in a bigger Class C with the kitties. I can find a camper and I know I can sell the house. But I’m so comfortable here. I think what I really need to do is take Olivi@ on an extended trip through Florida. Have Nikki take care of the kids and just DO IT. What I really need to do is BE PATIENT. Go to Arizona and visit with Bill and Cathy and see what I can learn.
Now I want to find an airline ticket to Tucson at a good price. I had one lined up for $167 one way but didn’t pull the trigger. For some reason, I don’t trust Fairhub for getting a ticket. I think I’ll go to Expedia. Be right back. I’m going to try now and see what the fare is. Just booked it. $221 one way. I’ll be booking a flight back after I get there. No telling how long I’ll be staying.
So I’ve just bought these. I’m hoping they will arrive today so I can play with them on my trip.

I think the ones I ordered are this fabric. Don’t remember. There was a long delay for getting them. But I’ll take pictures when I get them up.
I’ve received 2 deliveries today but not the Wings. I got the pee pads and the two water bottles. So I learned on YouTube that I need to put distilled water in the battery. Who knew? Anyway, I did add tap water in mine. Only about 1/2 a cup so I would guess that it isn’t going to be a problem. At least I hope not.
I found a little generator/charger. I took a picture of it. Let me get it here:

So this is one I will buy in a few months. The 50 LB 4Patriot Generator is great if we have a long power outage because of a Hurricane, but this one is good for charging USB items and other things. I found this on CreativityRV. This is a YouTube channel from Robin. Her video is really informative. Let me go get it and put it here:
Robin is so cool. I love her life. Carolyn is now on the Pacific Coast Trail backpacking for 1000 miles. It might be 2 months before she gets back in her RV. I’ll be interested in following her, but I’ll never be doing that so now Robin is going to fill my entertaining along with Bob Wells from CheapRVLiving. I love the pop-up tent she is filming in. She is going to have a video on it one of these days – we’ll have to look for that. I just love the view from it. I love my side tent, but it is nothing like this cool thing. Plus she has a blow up lounge chair that she loves and this is noted in this video too. So I’m happy that I didn’t just buy the generator. I’m saving it to buy “down the line”. I have so many chargers and some of them are solar, so I’m not too worried about charging things and I’ll be plugged in at the campground so I should have no problem. In the previous blog, I uploaded my first video. When I go to the campground, I’m going to VLOG in Olivi@. I don’t know how that will be though because I’m sure when I’m inside I’ll need the AC on. But I want to see if I can videotape inside like Mandy Lea does in her camper (at least she used to). Anyway, it should be something to experiment with.
I signed up for a course on becoming a Minimalist. It’s called Uncluttered. I’ll see how that goes. I’m following the FB community and I’m seeing others and how they are using the ideas. I just need to toss a bunch of things. Just go through my desk and other areas and toss out the junk.
So today I went to church and Michael wasn’t there. Helen was the leader and it was a bit of a cluster. I got there early and there wasn’t a “discussion” which worked out fine since no one was able to do the computer. I didn’t even know where the light switches were! Thank goodness for Dara. She came in and walked me through it. We got the powerpoint to work and I’ll be doing it the next 2 weeks while Michael is gone. He has done the service and Grace will be in charge next week and Dara the week after. Here is a picture of our group this morning:

There were 3 new people there today. A woman named Anna who found us on the web and two men that found us through the food pantry. Then a young family came in. So there were almost more “visitors” than regulars. That is pretty exciting. I doubt the young family will be back, but the others said they would be back, even though it was a bit of a disaster. We tried!
I’m going to end this now. It’s been great. Going to see if there is more I can do to get ready for tomorrow. I think I’ll still go to the 8AM, but not sure. We’ll see how I feel in the morning. Thanks for visiting. See you next time!
